"Will this be an occurrence?" Blaise had mocked me. I rolled my eyes.

"I do not know what you're talking about." Theo had mocked Y/l/n, terribly.

I rolled my eyes again.

"You guys need sort yourselves out." I shook my head, walking ahead of them, wanting to just goto bed already and wake up for classes tomorrow.

I finally changed into my pyjamas and landed in my bed.

I was awoken by Blaise and Theo talking about something. It was too early.

"5:30 am? What are you guys talking about at this time? School doesn't start until 9.." I squinted my eyes at them. It was still dark outside.

"Sorry, we both couldn't sleep and we kept ourselves awake for a few hours." Theo leaned against my bedpost and Blaise did the same to my other one.

"No.. I will not stay up." I answered without them asking, putting my pillow over my head.

They had groaned which made me mutter a 'fine' and get up.

It was normal for us to wake up around this time last year and it was not surprising they had trouble sleeping. I had just wanted to sleep in, but getting an early start for school did not seem so bad.

I changed into my uniform as like Blaise and Theo, who were already changed, with their bags packed. I packed mine, and we made our way out, roaming the cold hallways.

"Hey, I didn't think anyone would be awake this hour. Look at those witches outside." Blaise pointed outside the window. We were a few stories high. They sat by the black lake.

"They are Slytherins," Theo muttered, thinking. "It is not surprising." He concluded.

Most Slytherins were made to rebel, waking up at this ungodly hour. I guess it made sense.

I made my way next to them to look out the window. Clutching the strap of my bag tighter, I realised it was Y/l/n, Greengrass... and Parkinson. They sat side by side.

"Greengrass, Y/l/n, and Parkinson." Theo had repeated out loud.

Blaise shrugged. "I wonder how they're doing, you know, from last year."

Theo stared out the window. He shook his head and walked away slowly, roaming the corridors again. I followed with Blaise.

"And what might you boys be doing up so early?" McGonagall had said from behind us. I turned around.

"We just wanted to get an early day, Headmistress." I spoke with my eyes looking to the floor, then I looked back at her.

"Yes, we are so eager to learn." Theo grinned and Blaise tried hiding his laughs, hitting Theo's chest playfully. I smiled trying to hide it and I saw McGonagall smile also.

"Alright then stay out of trouble." She smiled once more, turning to walk away around a corner.

"What does staying out of trouble even mean I wonder?" Blaise said aloud as we started roaming the halls again.

"The only trouble we can get into now is not giving in our homework on time, Blaise." Theo sighed.

"Come on, remember our earlier years, pranking the students, and so on?" Blaise whined.

I shook my head. "I really am not bothered to get myself into trouble like that. I just need a peaceful year to finish my work.." I trailed off, sighing.

I could sense Blaise rolling his eyes, as we continued to walk on.
