I slept well that night.

"Oh look the sleepy head's awake, Theo!" Blaise exclaimed. I groaned and rolled over in my bed.

"How was your day yesterday with Y/l/n?" Theo teased, ruffling my hair up as I chuckled quietly in my pillow.

"He couldn't even have dinner with us.." Blaise pouted over dramatically.

They laughed and went off to do their own thing, finally leaving me alone.

But, I felt a dip in my bed. "It was so romantic, wasn't it?" Theo teased again in my ear and I jumped a bit.

"Leave me alone." I mumbled into my pillow.

"You gotta be ready Draco, you're the talk of the school for next week." Theo got up from my bed.

"I can see it now, Theo. 'Apparating back together on a Saturday evening? With a girl? How scandalous'.." Blaise trailed off, laughing again.

"No one's going to say that." I huffed.

"Sure," Blaise laughed. "Get ready for breakfast so we can eat."

I agreed and got up, getting ready in uncuffed sweatpants and a white tee, hair swept to the side like it usually was, I made my way through the Slytherin common room after Theo and Blaise.

Blaise was right about what he said, but that was the least of my worries.

Finally I made my way to the Great Hall and started eating. Y/l/n, wasn't anywhere. I quickly looked back down to my breakfast.

I did not know how to explain what happened next, but it was not good.

I felt a bit sick, my mouth felt weird, like I was going to vomit, and worst of all, the one thing I would have never wished upon anyone; my left arm pulsated.

I couldn't look at it as it was under the table in the first place and I wouldn't dare.

I looked up at my friends from across me and I could honestly tell, from the scared looks on their faces, and soon mine.

They got up and I followed them wearily, feeling like I was going to pass out. I was almost out the doors when Diggory of all people stopped me.

"Going somewhere, Malfoy?"

"I don't have time for this.." I muttered, walking past him but he didn't let me.

"You and I need to talk." I became irritated at his words.

"There's nothing to talk about. Get out of my way or this time will be worse than the last." I shoved past him and made my way after my friends, to our common room.

I couldn't help but fall onto the couch from my weakness my body suddenly had.

"Come on.." Theo muttered, helping me up as he helped me walk up the steps.

I heard Y/l/n from behind me and I looked back, but Theo did not stop as he kept guiding me. She looked worried, and I wondered if she knew.

"The dark lord seems to be back.." Blaise trailed off, shutting the door.

"Impossible, he died." Theo narrowed his eyes at random space, I noticed.

I looked down at my mark, and it looked as good as new, and not partially faded like it was before. It was healing before, and now I'm back to where I started, helpless.

"It must be the runaways.." I suggested, covering my mark with my right hand to not be distracted or entranced anymore by it.

They looked at me, waiting for further explanation. "You know, the ones that were never caught? They are probably rounding us up.. for revenge."

Blaise looked away. "We should go and tell McGonagall." He crossed his arms.

I nodded slowly, feeling a bit of the sickness go away.

I didn't want to make the same mistake a second time.

"If we don't, then they'll be completely unprepared for what's to come." Theo said.

I walked out a different person again; colder, but for the right reasons this time.

It kept pulsating, it was calling me to go, go to the others.

Come to us Draco Malfoy.

But I had to withstand it.
