"Oh Merlin." I heard Pansy shriek as she looked away.
"I'm going to be sick.." Theo told himself.
"That's an arm.. a severed one." Daphne recounted.
"No crap.." Blaise told her, causing a light slap on the shoulder, before he hugged her into his shoulder while she shrieked at the sight.
I became a bit teary eyed at the sight, but all it reminded me of was the beginning of the Macbeth Muggle film, minus the hand being buried at the beach.
I looked to Y/n for the first time after looking up from the arm on the ground, blood smeared on my fingers as I was trying to catch my breath, and I think I was hyperventilating.
I don't know what really got into me, maybe I had a thing with killing bad fathers.
This was just what needed to be done in my mind, for this dark drama to stop, for Y/n and the students of the school to be left alone.
She made her way to me and held my right arm in her hands, her body close to mine.
"I don't know what went through your mind and such.."
"I'm mental, I know, and I'm sorry."
"I figured.. and there is no room for apology." She responded.
It was silent as we looked down at the blood seeping out.
"He is probably dead." She said.
I didn't know what to say.
"Thank you for avenging many people."
"I'm not going to say you are welcome because killing someone is not worthy of a thank you.." I trailed off silently.
"I have to tell you something." She looked up at me, and I looked down on her in curiosity.
"The reason I don't see my mother anymore is because she ran away for her life," she paused, and I knew she had more things to say. "She was on the verge of death in his hands, but she got away, I don't know what happened to her."
She chuckled a bit.
"Maybe she will come for me now that he is gone."
She had given up hold of my arm as I wrapped it around her, she leaned into me more, a quiet sob. I let my fingers stroke through her hair softly.
She composed herself after a few minutes.
"Please lend me your blazer." And I took it off right away as she took it and bent down, lifting his arm into it and wrapping it around. She slowly got up, carrying it in both her arms.
"I don't want him to get it back if he does even survive." She spoke and I nodded, looking at what was left, a pool of blood.
I put my hand behind her back as we turned around to our friends.
Theo looked rough, his blond hair spiking in different directions, his blazer sleeves rolled up, and his hand holding Parkinson's.
She looked at Y/n I noticed, and I followed my eyes to Blaise who looked a bit unaffected, Greengrass' arm around his.
I picked at my tie a bit, as I felt a bit uneasy.
"What a show.." Greengrass looked awkwardly to Y/n's arms where she held her father's.
"You're telling me." Y/n chuckled a bit to her friends "Thank you for protecting me." She thanked her friends and mine.
"Y/n, of course." Theo said with concern, using her first name, I guess it was about time now, with all the things we had gone through.
"Any friend of Draco's, is a friend of ours, and any good person such as yourself deserves it." Blaise said. I smiled, straightening my back as Y/n smiled back at them.
"Thank you also." I looked to her friends.. Pansy and Daphne.
They nodded and smiled.
"We got off to a bit of a bad start, but thanks for always being good to us." Daphne smiled at me, and I was touched, I really was.
"Yeah I never meant to give your a dirty look or anything," Pansy laughed chuckling along with the rest quietly. "But yes thank you a lot for protecting Y/n and such." She concluded and I nodded.
"Diggory will soon be caught." Blaise stated, and we had nodded in unison.
Our friends had soon gone into small conversation, and they soon decided that they have had enough for one night and headed to wash up.
Y/n and I weren't done for the night though.
