I think that, my brain was in shock as I couldn't move my body for a brief second, but then I regained my movement, gasping for air out of the cold lake.

I looked frantically around.

"Y/n?" I searched the water for her, my panic started to rise.

"Y/n? Y/N?" My voice seemed to grow louder, more frightened as I kept searching the water.

I finally found her, her arm poking out the water just a bit further away from me.

I forced my way through the cold water over to her, carrying her in my arms as I looked down at her lifeless frame.

"Y/n?" I couldn't believe it. I wiped her hair out of her face. Her beautiful face.

"Oh no, no! No!"

I shook her and she didn't even flinch. Quickly, I took her out of the lake, resting her body on the grass.

"No, one heating charm and you'll be fine I promise."

Slowly, I watched her clothes and hair become dry, and I thought I'd see the light come back to her face along with it, but it didn't.

"Hello?" I tried, holding her hand in between my two hands, hoping for her.

I guess that from my cries and my pleads, the whole of Hogwarts had heard me as a crowd started emerging out.

"No!" I pounded the grass, my head resting on her stomach.

"What on earth is going- Y/n?!" Parkinson had shrieked, standing a metre away with Greengrass by her side.

I continued to cry, trying quietly.

"Oh why did I let you go alone?" I whispered to her.

"Draco!" Blaise had pushed past everyone with Theo following behind him, they knelt down beside me, I felt them, and one of their hands on my back.

"Draco.." Theo tried. I looked up from my slouched position over her body to look at them.

"Help me, please,"

"What.. what happened?" Blaise asked, so much concern on his face.

"Blaise, I'm so weak from the fall..."

"What fall, Draco?"

"Y/n.." I shook her body, ignoring Blaise.

"What happened to her?" Parkinson demanded. I didn't look up at anyone. Only Y/n. Only her.

"What did you do?" Greengrass muttered.

"How dare you assume that he did this." I heard Blaise harshly.

"Well what are you waiting for Draco Malfoy? Heal her! Get out of my way!" Parkinson worriedly rushed over.

She tried pushing me off but I didn't let her.

"It's too late.." I had sobbed, holding onto Y/n's arm.

Blaise and Theo held me back, as Parkinson and Greengrass went to attempt to heal her.

"Honestly," Greengrass muttered, taking out her wand as she shot me a quick glare.

Her and Parkinson started reciting all sorts of spells, and when they were done, they calmly looked down on her.

"Did it work?" Theo asked.

"We did everything we could, and it should, but there's no definite. I don't know what happened to her." Greengrass pulled up her pyjama sleeve over her palm and wiped her eyes harshly.

She got up with Parkinson, and they lifted her up with magic. I looked on helplessly.

"Come on.. we're going with em." Blaise and Theo helped me up to my feet as we followed behind, pushing through the crowd. I was absolutely shivering.

Last thing I remembered, was looking at Y/n Y/l/n.
