Suddenly, the doors of the Great Hall had burst open, people all rushing out, a gust of purple and green smoke bursting after them as they coughed and shrieked.

I sighed in relief, of the people who came out with purple, green, blue, and red skin colours.

Still holding onto his blazer, I looked on. "That potion was supposed to take a month to brew."

He laughed. "So that's why it did that."

I let go and looked down to Diggory, who was half way around the corner limping.

I ran after him behind the corner, my wand in my hand, and I could hear people following after me.

I stopped in my tracks, at recognising the tone of a man's voice.

"You had one job.." he told him. It was my father speaking down onto Diggory, in quiet anger, with words I was all too familiar with hearing all of my childhood. How I hated this man.

"Just what do you think you're doing?!" I yelled at him, suddenly brave. They both turned to me.

"It's time you come home don't you think?" My father smiled at me, but it soon turned to anger as he took out his wand muttering a spell towards me.

Before it hit me, Draco Malfoy had jumped in front of me, many ropes binding around his body as he collapsed onto his knees. He grunted.

Gasping, I looked up to my father.

"How dare a Malfoy be with my daughter and think he is worthy of our family." He told Diggory, or more like himself, or me, I didn't know who he was talking to anymore.

"I'm never coming home to you, not after what you did to drive mother away." I quickly made way to his ropes but Zabini and Nott did instead, helping him stand up.

"She left on her own," he whined angrily, casting another spell, and it hit me this time.

My legs suddenly didn't work as I collapsed onto my hands and knees, my legs felt like they were asleep.

I wasn't going to go home.

I saw my friends stand in front of me, casting spells, I couldn't hear it anymore, it was muffled.

They were holding themselves very well, I was proud. I started regaining my movement and stood up, my hand on Draco's arm to help me up as he cast spells onto Diggory.

I helped them, of course, I couldn't let them go away.

They looked tired and backed up into the wall by the time i had stood up, and looked like they were ready to apparate away, and I was going to let him go, because hopefully he wouldn't come back.

"Hold your fire." Draco had muttered.

But it all happened so quick, when Draco made his way over to my father and at the right moment of his apparition, he grabbed his free arm and pulled it out towards him, and what was left was just my fathers forearm, in Draco's hand, but not for a second longer as he let it drop to the floor.
