I knew Cedric Diggory was still around, and I knew he would strike soon enough.
He's a death eater on the loose, which means there are more of them still out there.
I knew I was hallucinating when I thought I had caught the eyes of Diggory in Hogsmeade, but after a blink of an eye I had lost him.
I had to shake off this feeling and move on. From now on I was on high alert, and I would be ready to defend myself.
After buying my suit and tie for the ball tomorrow evening with Blaise and Theo, I made my way back to my room to rest.
But on the way, I thought about the potion for our project. I knew our project was discontinued but I decided to go check on our potion, not wanting to leave it in the abandoned classroom forever.
Opening the door, I made my way to the corner, and it was gone.
Maybe I should have moved on and forgotten about the potion but how could anyone besides y/n know where our potion was? And I think she was too preoccupied to take it from the room.
I walked back to the Slytherin common room, and rummaged through my drawer for the book on Matrix Maxima.
This potion was a dark potion, a potion of dark purple that when it came into contact with someone, it would inflict random injuries onto them.
For a moment, I closed my eyes. How could this professor be as stupid enough to have us brew such a potion, that when in the wrong hands could cause harm onto others?
But I'm sure no one would have stolen it, I'm sure Filch may have found it and had just thrown it away.
I quickly forgot about it, and went down into the common room, laying on the couch alone to read a book for Charms.
A few minutes later, I noticed people walk in, but I didn't look up.
"Hi Draco." She smiled down on me, with a big bag in her hands. Her hair dangled almost into her eyes and her cheeks were a slight red like I always noticed.
I was surprised, putting my book down to give my attention to her as I sat up. "Hi Y/n." I couldn't help but give a small smile back, shyly.
I didn't think she'd want to talk to me as often as before the accident.
"Hope to see you tomorrow evening." Her lips moved to the side as she said it, and turned away to leave up the stairs with the big bag trailing behind her. I guessed that was her dress.
"I will.." she hadn't heard me reply.
I sat there thinking, tracing the design of the book I was reading with my index finger.
I wasn't even sure if I wanted to go, but now I was. And I had to look the part.
I quickly went up the stairs to my dorm.
