Only 3 days had passed, and those were my days of recovery. I had felt relatively better.

And, I hadn't talked to Draco since. I guess it was our time to process what happened.

Cedric Diggory wasn't arrested, or found. In fact, he had already packed up and ran away, probably after hearing that I was alive and not dead.

I hoped that he had finally moved on or something, but I think that I always try and look on the bright side when I should be cautious.

The ball was tomorrow, and to be quiet honest, I didn't feel like going. It didn't feel good right now, a ball didn't feel good right now, what was I supposed to even do there anymore?

Ever since that night, I found myself questioning things even more. Like what was I even doing anymore?

Despite this, I was convinced to go and buy a new ballgown by my friends in Hogsmeade.

"This one?" Daphne asked for the tenth time. I shook my head, I was not feeling the colour.

"This?" Pansy asked. I didn't like the shape.

"I'll look for my own don't worry, just focus on your own gowns." I smiled as I made my way over to a rack by the window.

Looking through the beautiful dresses, I'd decided that I had wanted a yellow/golden ballgown, in which it reminded me of the sun, and made me happier. It reminded me of warmth and the summer, so I took it off the rack and looked at the design a bit more. It had small purple butterflies flow down it.

I let my eyes wander out the window as I was thinking about if this was the gown I wanted, when I spotted the back of a boy with platinum blond hair in the shop across the road, already knowing who it was.

He was just as gorgeous from behind as he was when he was facing me, his tall frame helping him out every time; I loved it, to the point that maybe I was a tad bit obsessive. I don't think he had any idea of his beauty.

I faltered slightly, the dress in my hands not raised in front of my face anymore.

He was tall, with broad shoulders, one hand in his pocket and the other one twirled his wand in the air. He was with his friends, I'd assumed they were shopping for the ball. Would he have a date already?

I had been so adamant into getting to know him, for no particular reason, but maybe it was because of the fact that I felt attracted to him ever since I had seen him all those years ago, maybe it was my small crush, that was growing because of all the nice things he had done for me thus far. I knew I wanted to look my best tomorrow, and try to put a good foot forward from now on.

I decided I liked this gown, and it's design, making my way to Daphne and Pansy.

"Amazing choice, it's beautiful!" Daphne felt the dress with her hands to feel the material.

I smiled, looking at their dresses held in their hands. Daphne had a purple one, and Pansy a Blue one.

"The same thing for yours." I smiled wider, as we went to the counter to pay.
