"Theo just give it back." I got out of my bed and tried to take it from him gently, urging him to listen but he didn't.
"Why are you so pale for mate?" Theo asked me. I sighed almost angrily.
He tried to open the book but before he could I had to try and snatch it from him. I couldn't let Y/l/n go through such a situation of embarrassment.
He dodged my snatch. "Hey!" He exclaimed. He was genuinely confused. He got up onto his bed as he opened the book, while I tried reaching for it, failing.
I knew he had already read the first page before he closed it shut, giving me an awkward look.
"Now you see?" I asked, snatching the book from him.
"Wow," He paused, jumping down from his bed. "I can't believe you aren't reading it." He pointed to the book.
"Excuse me?" I asked, the book clutched in my hand.
"Honestly, what's the worst that could happen?" He asked.
"It's her private property and information, I don't know."
"If she wanted it to be private why would she write it down?" He asked like it was most obvious, shrugging.
"Theo you're being so silly." I chuckled, eyeing the book. I eyed Theo and he eyed the book.
"At least if I can't read it you read it for Merlin's sake." He offered.
"No.." I said as I took the book to the Slytherin common room, intending to give it back to Y/l/n.
I couldn't go up the girls' stairs for obvious reasons.
"Y/l/n!" I yelled from the bottom of the stairs. I put my foot on the first step and it automatically changed to a slide.
I rolled my eyes. No answer, and the common room was empty.
I flicked through the pages quickly of the book, and I went to the recent entry.
"4th of September.
It was already the 4th day of school, and he persisted me. He kept persisting me into it. Every time I said no, he persisted harder, and even more so.
On the train, he'd even managed to get to me, to send me all those letters.
I was afraid for myself, that I was never going to be left alone by..."
Now, why did I do that? I closed the book before I could read anymore.
Why did I feel the need to read that?
Why could I not be a decent human being for once in my sorry life?
I felt my forehead sweat and I groaned quietly, stomping my foot.
"Y/l/n!" I yelled again. Greengrass came out.
"Malfoy, it's 11pm, I had a long day, why are you trying to wake everyone up?!" She rubbed her eyes as she came down the stairs.
"Bring Y/l/n down here, now." I crossed my arms, annoyed at this situation.
"Wow.. alright." She rolled her eyes, brushing her hair out of her face in an annoyed fashion. She trudged up the stairs and a minute later, y/l/n emerged and came down the stairs.
It looked like she was asleep and Greengrass had to wake her up. She wore long striped pyjamas, her hair tied up.
I tapped my foot absentmindedly as she came closer to me, my arms still crossed.
She looked up squinting her eyes at me. "What? Why do you look royally pissed off?" She asked, rubbing her eyes.
