Breakfast was great, just how I remembered it, tasting delicious.

I finished commenting on Theo's stories as I looked up and around the Great Hall. Classes started in 20 minutes and everyone was sorting themselves out.

I looked to the table behind Theo who was in front of me, and I saw Y/l/n. She talked to Greengrass, and Parkinson, like I usually noticed. What I also noticed particularly was Diggory seated on the table behind her with his friends, staring at her. I didn't think too much of it.

And like I also usually noticed, her hair, neat, brushed behind her shoulders by her hand every so often, sometimes tucked behind her ear, as she continued to eat her breakfast.

She had squinted as the sun shown down from the glass panes and it made her glow even more than she had before when I had seen her on the train.

What was I saying?

I quickly got my act together and looked away, I couldn't be caught staring or letting anyone see what I was thinking about.

But, Theo and Blaise could always see right through me.

Blaise leaned his elbow on the table sliding it forward as he rested his head on it and turned to look at me.

"Beautiful isn't she?" He waited for my response. I rolled my eyes, eyeing Y/l/n again.

"I do not think we are eyeing the same thing." I admitted, fiddling with my ring on my right hand.

"So you aren't looking at that 5th year?" Blaise tried confirming, confusion on his face.

"No, of course not.." I sighed, rolling my eyes.

I eyed Y/l/n again out of paranoia and she was not looking at me for the third time, and I sighed out of relief.

"Y/l/n.. of course," Blaise paused. Theo clicked his fingers. "Aha!" He said, turning around slowly.

"Don't," I paused, and he paused. "Turn." I finished.

"Why? I'm not scared of anything." Theo admitted turning around. "Parkinsons there." He had muttered.

"And?" I asked. I already knew he liked her.

"So? She's nice looking." So he had a thing for Parkinson, it wasn't news to me or Blaise as he had been expressing his like for her since 3rd year.

"Nice looking?" Blaise repeated. "You are so bad at complimenting people, Theo."

"It's not like she can hear me. Or ever will." He turned back to them rolling his eyes, continuing his breakfast.

It was time for class finally and I ate a final piece of my breakfast, getting up to get ready for potions. Blaise and Theo had followed and we walked out the Great Hall.

It was no surprise, as always, when myself in particular received stares from the other students of Hogwarts, and a few giggles here and there, for Merlin knows why.

Before, I was stuck up.. rude.. impolite, unappreciative, and the list goes on.

But even though I have done many horrible things and piles of mistakes in my sorry life, there is always some people who look past that, giggling whenever they see me.

Were people really that desperate? I can't help but think I am the worst and the unwanted latter.

These thoughts escaped me as I made my way into the cold dungeon, but before I could take a seat, I was stopped by the new potions professor.
