Pansy had woken me up.
"Hey Y/n, it's best we go get changed into our uniforms." She smiled, getting up with Daphne, Slytherin uniforms in hand.
I agreed and grabbed my own, following them down the hall.
They halted in front of me and I wondered what was taking so long.
"There's a wait." Daphne sighed, leaning against the wall of the corridor.
I looked past them and saw Zabini and Malfoy waiting already in their uniforms outside a changing room, they were whispering amongst themselves.
Out came Nott from the changing room, fixing his tie one last time before he glanced at the exit then to his friends.
They made their way towards us, Pansy and I quickly leaned to the side Daphne was already leaning on to make room.
I eyed Malfoy unconsciously and he had already been looking at me.
Their robes swished past us and away.
"Yeesh." Daphne had a slight grimace as they walked off. "Not even a polite 'excuse me?'" She sighed, making her way in the changing room Nott was in moments ago.
"What do you expect, they're Slytherins." Pansy had chuckled, spinning her wand around in her fingers.
"Or maybe they're just boys." I joked.
"Yeah, that." Daphne grunted, agreeing with me.
"We ought to have gotten used to it by now." Pansy said.
Daphne came out, shrugging. I shrugged back and made my way into the changing room past her just before Pansy could.
"Hey!" Pansy whined, and I laughed closing the curtain. I heard Daphne laugh also and they soon fell into chatter.
I finished changing and we waited for Pansy, she changed very quickly and we walked ahead.
We all wore the same, gray skirt, white shirt, with a green tie and green Slytherin robes, although, Pansy was a bit shorter.
"So, any classes your looking forward to?" Daphne asked us as we sat down. The train would arrive any moment now.
"All of them." I said.
"Alright my little smarty pants. Top of the class." Pansy smirked at Daphne then me, punching me lightly on my shoulder. I chuckled and looked out the window.
"I'm especially looking forward to divination, and charms." Daphne answered her own question.
"Potions." Pansy said with a sparkle in her eye as I looked at her. She had always loved potions.
"We will all be studying together won't we?" Daphne asked.
"Yes, of course, I think it will be good, to motivate each other." I agreed, and nodded.
Pansy lay back in her seat making herself comfortable but the train had come to a stop and the horn sounded three times.
I couldn't help but laugh.
"Great." She chuckled. "Hogwarts here we come.." She trailed off looking out the window at the tall castle on the hill.
We quickly made our way out to The Thestrals, not waiting another second as there would be no more carriages.
Pansy had chosen one for us, but not before admiring the large black horse with bat-like wings.
"The omens of misfortune and aggression." I said from behind her.
"Yes.. and spooky also. Let's go inside." Daphne hurried, ushering us inside our carriage.
