"You gave me the wrong book." He pushed the book towards me to my chest, harshly, and I stumbled back a bit.
But he quickly grabbed my shoulders, looking a little worried, but overall a bit annoyed or upset. I couldn't tell.
The book dropped to the floor, opened.
"So? Is that any reason to be upset?" I asked groggily, still tired. His hands were still on my shoulders and I brushed them off gently to pick up the opened book.
"I'll just go grab the right one for.." I trailed off as I skimmed over the open page.
It was my journal.
My eyes shot up to his and he put his hand on the side of his face, closing his eyes, like he was losing a bit of his patience.
"Did you read my book?" I calmly asked, and he opened his eyes, looking down on me.
His eyes, held so much meaning, that I could look at them all day to just try and figure out a fragment of what he was thinking and going through.
"Which did you read?" I demanded.
"I didn't mean to. I thought it was on Matrix." He answered me quickly.
I looked all over him, trying to process.
"Theo was even-"
"-Nott read it?!"
"No, he didn't." He took a step closer to me. If I had leaned in any closer, there would have been no space. He lowered his voice.
"So what did you read? Huh?" I shrugged, closing the book.
He huffed and ran his hand through his platinum hair.
"Just, the recent one." He mumbled. "Not all of it." He added, keeping eye contact with me.
At least he admitted it.
I shook my head and turned away but he put his hand on my shoulder, leaning into my ear.
"I'm sorry. It was never my intention to do so."
I shrugged him off and slowly climbed a few steps, before I turned back to him. He looked back up at me.
He was wearing long pyjama pants, and a white tee. You could see his dark mark as he had his hands by his sides, looking at me pleadingly, but viciously. And you could really see his arms. He had light muscles.
"I'm here if you ever want to talk about whatever you're going through."
I shook my head. "No one can help me." I looked down at him as he stood at the bottom of the steps.
"I can." He tried, his right hand resting on his chest.
"Don't act like we're friends you never even-"
"-I know, we didn't know each other beforehand, but I honestly," He paused, steeping closer to the bottom of the stairs. "I honestly have just full intention of getting to know you."
He put his foot on the first step and it didn't turn to a slide, as I was standing on it. He smirked up at me and I sighed, crossing my arms. I looked away.
He stood two steps before mine and rested his hand on his wrist, looking up at me.
"So will you please forgive me? I honestly didn't mean to. It wasn't my intention." He told me.
"I forgive you Draco Malfoy," He smiled and I had to look away.
"Hey I mean.. your fault it was the same colour as the potions one-" I had to slap his shoulder gently with my journal as we laughed together.
"Let me go get the correct book for you.." I rushed up the stairs to retrieve it.
