The amount of excitement I had when I entered my house after the party was a lot more compared to when I left the house to the party, especially considering the fact I wasn't excited at all in attending the party. My mom's curious gaze followed me as I kept smiling to myself while I served myself breakfast. It was just the two of us, the twins were still asleep, and Dakota was out playing basketball with his friends.
"Are you going to tell me or not?" My mom snapped when she finally couldn't take enough of my peculiar behavior.
"Tell what?" I played dumb.
"Tell me what happened in the party!" She demanded. My mom hated not knowing things, she hated being left out and being held back from information. And it was really fun to mess around with someone like her. I faked an overdramatic sigh and looked at her with a cheeky smile.
"The party?"
"Yes, the one you went to last night."
"You want to know what happened in the party?"
"Or else why would I ask you. "
"You want to know?"
"Yes."
"You really want to know?"
"Yes." Her yoga classes are actually working.
"You really really really want-"
"Spit it out before I shove your head back into your ass where it belongs."
"Yoga classes aren't working?"
"The condom I used definitely didn't."
"Come on, mom! Don't go there. You told me you didn't use a condom."
"Well, I wish I did." The scowl on my face matched her's now. "Now tell me or you're grounded."
"That's blackmail."
"Thank you, I didn't know. My Bachelor of Science forgot to teach me that word."
"But you won't let me forget you own a degree in science. Cool, mom. We all get it. You shouldn't flex so much."
"Can you blame me? I can't flex about my poor excuse of a son anyway."
"A'ight. I let Dakota know what you think of him." I replied cockily as I continued eating.
"Let Dakota also know that he can use the second largest room as his playroom."
"That is my room!"
"Was." She corrected me as she sipped her coffee and turned her attention towards the newspaper.
"You're kicking me out cause-"
"You're withholding me-"
"Withholding? Are you serious?"
"From serious information. I want to know the cause behind the smile that you had earlier."
"I can let you know why I lost it though."
"You can lose your roo-"
"Fine, woman! Geez." That smirk slowly reappeared on her face. "I broke up with Kim." She lost that smirk right after.
"But what bout William?"
"Will can shove-"
"He is your father and still controls your expense."
