Clarke Augustan

Xavier was walking me to lunch, apparently he had something to ask me and I feared that he was going to ask me out on a date because there was no way I was going to say yes.

"You know how we have to do a painting for this term, yeah? And it's free style, and don't get creeped out, but I decided I want to paint your eyes as an inspiration." He mumbled scratching the back of head awkwardly freezing me in my spot abruptly,

"Wait, what?"

"Don't get creeped out, it's just," He let out a sigh, "Your eyes are beautiful." He muttered.

"I-nu-what? They are just black."

"They are beautiful. Stop being racist." He added a joke in the end which actually made me smile. I rolled my eyes,

"What do you want me to do? Sit idly till you finish? If you want me to sit idly, you better play Sherlock behind."

"I'll take few days approx, so if you could spend an hour or so with me for five days from today? I promise I'm fast." He asked me, his words fast like he's been practicing it for a while. I laughed awkwardly as we continued walking into the cafeteria. I really wasn't sure because I could really concentrate only on one thing, my mission, and that's Aaron.

"I'm not sure-"

"Please don't say no. Just for two three days at least. I'll be fast." He pleaded as he grabbed my hands.

"Xavier, I'm really busy." My apologetic voice filled with sincerity.

"Just let me know when you're free, we'll work it out." He begged and I had a feeling he wasn't letting this go until I agreed.

"Alright. I'll let you know."

"Thank you so much! You are the best." He complimented and kissed my cheek. I blushed slightly at his sudden gesture, because I don't think I have had so many affectionate behaviours and experiences with guys towards me until now. So when he was showing me so much affection in public in front all of my friends, I was really embarrassed.

I silently slid into my seat next to Elsa not wanting too much attention but clearly with how everyone were looking at me with a smug and suggestive smile, told me that they saw that small exchange. Except Aaron. He didn't even look at my side once.

"Is there something you aren't telling me?" Elsa asked me as she winked at me with a smirk but, I only laughed awkwardly and didn't bother to reply.

"Someone stealing my girl?" I quickly looked up to see who asked that, hoping it would be Aaron, but the tinge of humour and the fact that the voice didn't affect my nerves told me it wasn't him. It was Charles. I looked at Aaron, who was still paying no attention to anything but his food.

"You wish she was your girl." Jade replied to Charles instead making us laugh, and then looked at me. "You're no one's girl right, love?" I smiled warmly at him, respecting his words. Elsa was indeed lucky to have such a nice guy as her lover.

"What did he want?" Dan asked me casually as he ate his food. I shrugged,

"Some help in art and I agreed."

"That guy ranked second in the standard, he doesn't need any help." Aaron muttered silently, finally breaking the silence.

"Well, baby, who cares right?" Kim quickly interrupted as she wrapped her hand around Aaron's like a snake. "We're happy for you, Clarke. Now we won't have to worry about you stealing any of our boys again." She looked at me with a bright cheerful smile, which was very contrasting to her words. But the villainy in her eyes never left. Before I could reply, Dan jumped into the conversation.
