When the bell rang, signalling us that the physics class is over, I was the first one to get out. I bumped into Kristen on our way to our next class, Fine arts. While I was talking to her, Aaron didn't even wait for me. He just rudely took off while Kristen looked like she was punched in the face by somebody.

"Hey. Don't worry-" I tried comforting her but she just shook her head with upset written all over her face. I could see how much she liked Aaron.

"No. He just never speaks to me nowadays. I think he is ashamed to be around me-"

"Why would he be ashamed?"

"I'm a nerd."

I let a laugh at the statement.

"And you think he isn't? We call him Nerdy Ron for a reason." A proud smile escaped my face when I heard her laugh. "He is just afraid of you getting hurt. He knows how innocent and fragile you are."

"I-"

"He cares for you. He is very overprotective and he loves you. He just has a weird way of showing it."

"I hope it's that but it doesn't hurt less."

"You know what? Join us for lunch break tomorrow. We need to prove him that you are not fragile and you can take care of yourself."

She just smiled at me brightly,

"Why are you doing this?"

"What do you mean?"

"Why are you being sweet to me?" She asked me softly.

"Sweet? Psst. Stop." I replied with an awkward laugh as blood rushed to my cheeks out of embarrassment. No one has ever called me sweet.

"Oh my god, you're blushing." She busted out laughing as she pointed at my cheeks, "You still haven't answered my question."

"Well, I guess I can't accept it when someone sees me fragile or they feel I can't handle something. Especially since I'm a girl. So yeah, I guess I just couldn't sit and watch Aaron treat you like a fragile glass. We are not fragile. You are not fragile."

"Wow." She just stood there and gaped at me, making me blush again.

"Whoa! Time's up, I have to go."

"Maybe you could come over to my house today or tomorrow!" She yelled back laughing and waving. I gave her a thumbs up with a charming smile and ran.

As I reached our Art room, I heard a loud thunder startling me. I could slowly feel the hallway turn cold and windy. London's weather was unpredictable. I sneaked into the art classroom while the professor Dingus-don't laugh- was busy talking to this silent cute guy in the other corner of the room.

As I took my place in front of my art board, Aaron gave me a look.

"What?"

"Why do you talk to my sister?" He asked me seriously.

"Am I not suppose to talk to people I like?"

"What are you upto?"

"To prove you wrong." I muttered quietly.
