In the end we only regret the chances we didn't take.

Clarke Augustan
No one treats Augustans less than what they deserve.
Anger rushed in from my toes and my hand instantly jerked out to grab the first thing I could find to throw at him.
Who does he think he is?
Before I could even do anything, a pair of arms wrapped themselves around my waist and pulled me back, unfortunately, leaving Mr William Bald-fucking-Cortez unharmed as he stared outside the glass in his own oblivious world.
"Whoa, tiger. You don't want to get fired." Jason whispered in my ears as I struggled to free from his grip so Baldman here can get what he deserves.
"Leave me, Jason. Baldman here doesn't know who he is messing with." I growled as I elbowed Jason hardly in his ribs. He let out a yelp of pain as he clutched his abdomen. I instantly heard few soft chuckles evolving around like ripples in a pond from all the workers around.
"Excuse me?" Mr Williams finally realised something was happening behind his back and raised his eyebrow at rest of his workers instantly vaporizing the chuckles. He was a man of calculations and money. He made it clear that there was absolutely no time for humour or fun in his life. I just prayed he at least gave some time and love to his family. I knew he cared for them, if he didn't, I wouldn't be here right now, but I just hoped he knew the right way of showing it.
"Nothing at all, Sir. We were just deciding when we should disclose the details to Miss Augustan." Jason immediately rushed in front of me to prevent my resignation, "And I think we should do it right now." He let out a nervous laugh as he pulled me away to another guy with his right grip on my elbow so I wouldn't run away to murder Mr Cortez.
"Get back to work." Baldman ordered everybody else with that hard thick gruffly voice which made the voice of the boogeyman in our nightmares completely unthreatening.
Everybody instantly went back to work or at least pretended to be busy. Jason dragged me near these two computers which, one was connected to a tracking device and the other one to the projector.
A guy around my height and probably my age, stood beside the computer wearing cute glasses and his messy hair pointing in all directions, reminding me of a nervous hamster. He looked like he desperately needed the sunshine and the fresh air outside. He turned on the projector while someone else turned of the lights turning thole whole room dark. The projector projected pictures of three Italian men who were holding FIR. Two of them had the same colour of eyes, jade, which was so light that you could mistake it for sea green, and jet black hair, with pretty much three or four years of age difference between each other. And the third guy was definitely old and looked nothing alike the other two. The first two were definitely brothers but the only way to differentiate was that one of them had a beard and the other one didn't.
"That's Slate." Hamster guy pointed at the younger one with no beard. "Current age- 22, Italian origin, owns a pub and a house downtown on River street." He continued and then pointed at the other jade eyed italian, "And that's River. He is slate's older brother and he is 26 years old. He lives with slate-"
I cut him off by asking, "So he lives on a street named before him?"
The hamster guy smiled slightly at me before turning back to the projector screen,
"Yes, This photograph was basically taken three years back and the two brothers were released recently, around a year back, but the older guy, Joe Grill, is still behind grills for threatening to commit crime, such as, 'kidnap' and not doing it properly." I chuckled at his statement. Hamster guy had a mad sense of humor. I proceeded to ask him another question,
