"Is she actually your cousin?" Harry asked as the rest of them came forward to examine Kristen like she was a newly bought toy.
"Yeah..." Aaron just muttered awkwardly and looked away.
"Why didn't we know about her, man?" Jade asked sounding offended.
"Kristen, I'll call you later. We need to go now." Aaron left expecting us to follow him after that and since he was naturally a fast walker, we all had to naturally jog to catch up his pace. And especially since he stormed off, we needed to sprint.
"Aaron, wait up." Dan yelled as he reached out for Aaron's shoulders.
"What?"
"Where are you rushing to?" Elsa asked him trying to raise a conversation.
"Practice." He replied with one word, killing Elsa's conversation starter.
"Okay. What just happened?" I asked as I pulled his shirt to stop him from walking so fast. I really didn't like walking or beating around the bush.
"How did you know she was my cousin?" Neither does he like beating around the bush I guess. He glared at me like I committed a crime by guessing she was his cousin.
"It was just a guess," Also because I know everything about you in a non-creepy way. "Plus, you two look alike."
"No, we don't-"
"Yeah, man. You share some looks. You're good looking and so is she." Harry added making all of us turn to him with a 'What the fuck' look.
"I don't know if you're hitting on me or my sister but neither of us are interested."
"Damn. Bad luck." Harry muttered as he looked away. Dan just busted out laughing at Harry's reply and looked at us,
"Is he stoned or something?"
"He did eat a lot during lunch." Elsa added with observation. We continued walking to the field after Aaron closed his cousin's topic not giving any of us a chance to talk. He pretty much made it crystal clear that we wouldn't be talking about her anytime soon. I could see his friends dying to ask him questions. They were more upset that Aaron still didn't trust them enough with the news of Kristen and it was hurting them, but all of them ignored the topic for Aaron's sake and continued on with the day.
I didn't get why Aaron was trying to hide her because it's obvious, that one day all your secrets come out.
Just like yours will, Clarke.
We were walking towards the exit in the hallway so we could get to the football court. Elsa and Harry left us because Elsa had tracks now and Harry had basketball practice. That narrowed down to just; Jaiden, Dan, Aaron and me.
Another thing I observed was that, Jaiden doesn't play. He just waits there in the football Court because he is Dan's ride back home. The friendship between the four was admirable.
We entered the football court after changing into sports attire and immediately started stretching.
Same old routine.

Five days. It has been exactly five days since I had some real fun. Today was Saturday and due to some mission training for the team beta, I had no training today. No message from Franz. No sign from the new mission. School is boring. I hardly see my brother but when I do see him, we only fight, and it wasn't even morning for us to fight! Uncle is missing. My life is totally inactive right now. Boo- fucking- Hoo.
