Clarke Augustan

"I'm sorry." I rolled my eyes at him and remained silent at his apology. "No Clarke, I'm seriously-" I cut him off abruptly not being able to stand any of their issues.

"You're wasting all our time, Rüdiger. Sorry won't bring a dead man to life, right?" I ended my question with a bitter chuckle in the end, also very grateful that I got the pronunciation of his first name right. I generally wouldn't have been so furious and irrational to throw in quotes like an immature, unforgiving kid, and working for the camp has taught me that there will always be critics and disagreements, but this was just a lack of trust and poor judgement from Franz. And it was Franz- he's known me forever, he's almost family, and shouldn't family stick by?

"I'm sorry too-" Mike opened his mouth to apologise just like Franz but I wasn't really in the mood to play forgiving Mother Theresa.

"Listen, I seriously don't care, alright? Let's get back to work. Hedge, use Victor to find who the person is." My voice was so sharp and menacing that even Hedge didn't bother correcting me with Victor's complete name.

"I think you should go easy on them. You're scaring me too." Aaron whispered into my ears completely oblivious to what his voice could do to me. I squeezed his hand in reassurance which was holding mine tightly.

"Nah, I'm having fuckloads of fun." I replied back making him laugh loudly which somehow eased the tension which had consumed all the space in the room. Hedge started working his Victor and few more gadgets while the rest made a good decision by keeping their lips sealed. All our eyes were trained on the projector, closely watching Hedge work his magic.

"Uh..." He faltered a bit as he stepped back from the computer in obvious confusion and disappointment, "Clarke, I got the result but there is no connection. It's tricky. There are a lot of results but so we wouldn't know which one is the accurate one." He muttered as he pointed at the projector screen where the list of people who looked a lot familiar to X.
We directly clicked on the first result shown on the projector screen, knowing it was the closest to X's face and it has to be the result. It took a minute before we were displayed with another picture of x's face on the right side and with the details on the left.

We all remained silent trying to understand and make sense out of the details that we had. The name Xavier immediately lit my eyes up, letting me know we were on the right track.

"It doesn't make sense." Hedge muttered.

"No, it does. His brother's name is Xavier, and their gang is known as 'The Xavier's Club'. That's something, right? Probably like a tribute to Xavier since it says he is dead too." Aaron pointed out casually, impressing everyone in the room, especially me. To an extent where I wanted to make out with him as soon as possible. I nodded in agreement with Aaron after giving him a small smile and turned my eyes towards the screen projector again.
