Falling is not a choice. It's unpredictable.
Falling hurts, but we all fall.
Sometimes we do it willingly, jump in head first, and sometimes it happens so slowly that you don't even realise it until you're too deep to get out.
But falling is not a mistake. And falling in love with you definitely wasn't.
My uncle used to say, "When two people fall in love, somebody is bound to fall and break, but the question is, 'is that person worth the fall?' Think about it, Honey."
And I did think about it. I thought about you. I thought about how hard I fell for you and how it was worth every pain and tear.
Falling either breaks you or makes you.
I honestly don't know what it makes of me. I'm probably so deep into it like a soulful dancer, not realising they are dancing on broken glass pieces, because the song is so beautiful to stop.
You are that beautiful song I can't stop dancing to.
Falling in love with you is like soaring high through the clouds, winds harsh enough to stop my breathing, but for you, I'd give my last breath away.
Falling in love with you was like playing chess with death, I need to win. I need to win it to live.
Falling in love with you, kept me alive.
And to this day, you're the sole reason for my heart beating.
