"Monsters are real, Ghost are real too. They live inside, and sometimes, they win." - Stephan King.

I heard a very familiar laugh when I landed on the floor with my hands covering my head.
Oh god, I groaned as I realised whose laugh it was.
"Sorry Honey, I know, I know, I'll call you next time before coming." My old man apologised as I slowly got up from my crouched position.
"Uncle Rick! You better change that stupid ringtone of yours!" He let out a laugh at my irritated outburst. "You scared the living shit out of me." I snapped as I turned the lights on for the kitchen.
"How about I take you to dinner?" He offered knowing how much of a sucker I was for dinners and small get-togethers. They always made me feel like everything was fine.
"Yeah I'm in, but first please change that stupid ringtone while I freshen up." I groaned as I jogged up the stairs to my room.

We reached home late after Dinner. Dinner was pleasant until Mike decided to join us. He was always coming home late these days and refused to tell me what he was up to. Uncle also decided to stay the night with us but the house still remained quiet. My phone rang, stealing all my attention from the Sydney Sheldon book I was reading.
"What do you want?" I snapped at Franz as soon as I picked the call. I still wasn't over the prank he pulled yesterday for I was a laughing stock at school because of him.
You would be the laughing stock either way.
"MayDay." I immediately straightened up and became serious. This was our code if we needed each other's help or if we needed to discuss something very classified and a phone call wouldn't be our safest choice.
"Where?" I asked him knowing we had to meet immediately.
"The field near the camp." This field was pretty big and abandoned. The FORCE has been trying to get their hands on it but the government is reluctant with selling it. Currently, it was just empty and perfect for all such sort of meet ups.
"Alright, see you in a bit." I hung up and changed into warmer clothes. I informed Mike that I was stepping out to meet Franz and left immediately.
As soon as I reached, I spotted two cars in middle of the field with their headlights on. This field was far away from the city, almost in the outskirts, and hence why it was always empty.
The field really looked more like a hill, a higher platform on the edges, where you could see the city in the best view. I smiled at both, Franz and Richard, as I got out of the car.
"What's up, Richie rich?" I asked Richard as I walked closer to them and did our handshake. He was Franz's second partner, who normally stays indoors and does all the tech and geek work involved in the missions.
"So, what's going on?" I asked loudly, but mostly directed to Franz.
"Are you sure this is a good idea, Rüdiger?" Richie asked Franz while I stared at both of them in confusion. Franz just shook his head and removed a pack of smokes from his pocket.
"Nope." He muttered as he lit a cigarette. He took a long drag before he started speaking.
"The F.O.R.C.E assigned a new mission to our team today." And if you want to know what F.O.R.C.E is, it's another name for our camp, the more official name of the camp. "It is strictly confidential but we couldn't do this without you. No matter what happens the Chief is not going to know about this, okay?" I nodded in reply and let him continue.
