"If this vital information was disclosed earlier, we would have saved a lot of time." Mike commented from the side after listening to what I had learnt from Lucy.

"You know they say, 'everything happens for a reason' and plus, all in good time, mate." Drew added with a shrug and moved behind Chief to have a glance at all the data the file held. It contained old pictures of Ethan back during his undergrad with Emily and his other friends. There were some pictures of Xavier too, back in his college days.

"What good reason could there possibly be behind my father's absence?"

"Maybe he's a shitty cook." Hedge added absentmindedly completely oblivious to Mike's sharp glares towards the back of his head. I laughed silently and watched him mess up more, "Or maybe his jokes are shitty."

"Nothing can be worse than yours so shut the fu-"

"Hedge, come on." Chief motioned Hedge to cut it off.

"What a handsome bloke." Drew commented as he picked a picture of Ethan. "Unfortunately he's going to die soon."

"If he doesn't shoot us first." Hedge added again making me laugh.

"Hedge, honestly shut up." Demitri scolded Hedge.

"The key is confidence, Hedge. As a scientist you-"

"As a scientist, I'm more comfortable with theories than bullets and weapons, thank you."

"But Mike's right. We could have saved a lot of time and probably a lot of lives." Leon held Mike's hand for comfort hoping to diffuse his temper as much as she could.

"I'm just glad we reached this point at least now. Can we proceed further?" Richie Rich being the smart one changed the course of our conversation.

"All the five teams continue focusing on your mission, you have one more week of training. Clarke, I need you to get back on your daily advance training with Drew."

"But what about Aaro-"

"Michelle or Joe will be taking your place. Everyone else, please get back to work. You have more or less than one week left. Train hard." With that Chief left the room and slowly everybody followed out except Mike, who looked troubled as he stayed still looking out the window.

I walked closer until he was few feet away from me and asked that one question that was bugging me the whole day.

"You good?" He stayed still for few minutes before he eventually turned to face me.

"No." He looked tired and slightly angry.

"Did something happen?"

"No." But he looked more tired.

"Then what's the matter?"

"I just-" He let out a frustrated grunt before gripping his hair harshly, "Tell me, Hurley, do you honestly think we should wait a week befor-"

"Ahh, I see where this is going. Drew warned me."

"Of course he fucking did." Mike snapped and was going to storm off if I hadn't stopped him.

"Woah there, chap. Calm down. I don't have a problem waiting another week. We've waited so long for this and I don't feel the hurry to rush this."

"But what are we even waiting for? We have the guy. We have all five. Why can't we just-"
