...~..........~... Finally Together
Luna was extremely excited when Rafe called her and told her the news. He had been updating her almost everyday and finally it was done and they could be together. It was Sunday and Luna was waiting at the airport. Rafe would arrive in 20 minutes. She was nervous and felt all kind of emotions, it overwhelmed her. Finally Rafe was with her and they got over the terrible distance.
"Flight 5973 from Charleston landed in Gate 21." She read the sign and went to the assigned luggage pick up. After 30 minutes the first people left with their suitcases. She hated that the luggage always took so long. She waited nervously for him.
Then she saw him with two suitcases. "Rafe!!" She squealed when she saw him coming from the luggage pick up. He hurried to her and they hugged tight.
"Luna." He spoke into her hair and kissed her head.
"Oh my god!" Luna started to cry. "Sorry... it's just- I can't believe you're here."
He smiled and stroke over her teary cheeks. "But its real."
"Thank you for doing this." She smiled back at him.
"Of course." He bend down and kissed her.
Luna melted into his kiss, it's been so long that she felt his lips on hers and she almost couldn't let go but then remembered that they were in the airport. "Let's go home." She took his hand and they walked out the airport to their uber.
On the whole drive he held her hand tight and stroke over it. Luna couldn't look away from him and neither could he. They always had eye contact and smiled at each other.
Rafe was staying with Luna, Joey and Sierra till he and Luna found an apartment for them. They had already talked about that with Joey and Sierra. On the day Rafe arrived they went to Barney's and celebrated, he met their friends and immediately felt welcomed and he was very glad.
A few weeks have passed and they finally got a apartment. They didn't move too far away from Joey and Sierra, it was in the same block. It was small but they got everything they needed. The move was stressful. There went something wrong with the re registration for uni and the wifi didn't work and then the shower had a leak, it was a mess. But after three weeks they slowly started to settle in. It was the right time because Luna's birthday was coming up.
Rafe had texted with Sky, she was coming over. He told her to spread the invitation over to the Pogues and he would also invite Bret, Anthony and Lauren. It was a surprise for Luna, he was really excited.
