"We'll be there soon."
I grinned at Sawyer's voice.
"Perfect."
I rethought my plan, we needed to get there it time tho, but with Skarla's anger I had another asset to use.
So instead of the huge army I thought of first it was only him, her, myself and the most elite of the elvish fighters chosen for the mission: Approach the capitol without being spotted.
Everyone would be celebrating so getting there will be easy and I don't want the elves to get the glory of saving Solor from that queen... That meant choosing a more boring approach.
The elves wore dark outfits while I didn't care for camouflage nor did Skarla.
Oh Skarla my beautiful mage~ Just look at you, anger suits you so well. Silvery flames blazing along your skin, eyes spewing their own fire, shining like rubies molting in an ocean of rage.
We finally arrived on the last but tallest mountain peak between the capitol and out point.
It had grown a lot since last I've been here and the huge tree was even taller in the castle garden, it even changed color, leaves red and bark silver...
"All of our enemies are there my dear mage, my dear king." I said, looking at those dotes that must have been people, partying happily while they made the rests lives miserable. "Soon they'll pay for the pain they brought upon us."
"I will follow your lead." Sawyer said.
"Let them burn." Skarla added.
"Then lets move, by the time we get to the outer city walls it will be near sunset. Sawyer, lead the elves around the back of the city, I with Skarla will deal with the front, I believe in you."
"Yes my queen."
I was left along with Skarla soon.
"Lets avenge Davis." I told her.
"Lets."
----------------------------------------------------------
The walls outside of the city didn't exit from what I remember from what the gods showed me, it must be new even in this day and age.
I could see flames of torches lighting on top of it.
I took a deep breath, feeling my magic reach out, spread out, dipping my hands in the endless pool of elemental magic that opened itself to me by me being one of the only elementals alive currently.
It was like a rush of lightning through my limbs, unending power, power I needed to take that crown and keep anyone from taking it from me.
I grinned, Sawyer you stupid fool, you follow me without doubt, you'll see where that leads you.
"You there!! Sto--" I held my hand up, a powerful dot of light lit in my palm, a shock wave of whoomp-ing loudly as it was created before it flew at the wall with a fieeeew-like sound.
There was a spark when impacting and the next second the approaching night sky was light up as it the sun had appeared on the impact point, so bring it swallowed all, nothing but white was visible as deafening shrieking of the all consuming magic blew outwards, the ground shaking as if the gods themselves stomped on it with their powers... Yes, just like the gods! I'll show these people they'll better bow to me!!
As the light dimmed, nothing but darkness was left until my eyes got used to the dim light of the setting sun again, in front of me... Nothing.
I grinned huge.
"This is the power of the lost element of light!"
Light didn't damage what was alive unlike darkness that didn't damage what was not alive, the huge and thick stone wall was no more, having been turned to dust on a large enough distance that even the largest dragon would seem small in comparison and it took many of the houses around it too, leaving a huge dom shape where only what was alive remained and nothing else.
"Skarla, these are the people that brought death to your people." I said, as the Elite and normal civilians, all naked from the attack, looked in fear, soon enough alarm bells ringing. "Today they learn of the pain themselves!"
With a flick of my wrist fire spread out like a spiderweb from underneath my feet, crisscrossing around, rushing ahead, crawling up the bodies the lived when they touched, covering them in spiderweb-like markings that soon started smoking and eating through the flesh.
Screams of agony filled the air as flesh and body burnt in places and not in others, the people falling into pieces and heaps of diced flesh when the fire ate through the body and only then did it start burning it all.
"GET YOUR REVENGE!!!" I smiled big, since I knew, Skarla would not stay her magic, go my mage, get me my crow!
