I couldn't finish off the Elite trembling at my feet before a strong gust of wind literally swept me off my feet.
I couldn't help but yelp in surprise as such a shock calmed me almost instantly, watching this probably magical wind carry me several feet higher then any houses.
Suddenly it was like gone since I fell flat on my face in the inner court of the castle I only ever saw from outside.... Tho I landed on a gravel path.
I stood up, looking around in awe at the inner walls I never previously saw.
I lit a fire easily in my palm when Elites approached but they dropped to their knees.
"The queen wants to see you." One said, sounding like he'd piss himself any moment now.
"Well then lead the way." I wanted to make them all suffer for what they did to me, to everyone, all the pain and loss they brought to the world.... But I followed after.
The inside of the castle itself was clean of any debris from any possible fights, it made me smile, none of you could ever best Seva idiots.
I ringed the water out of my clothes as much as I could, not caring I was sullying the carpet, the rain had been hammering down hard and falling thickly, almost blinding.
I brushed my hair back, parts of it just hanging threw of being tied back so I fixed that too even if the wetness of it would stick the strands to my head anyway.
The inside of the throne room was even more mesmerizing, the halls were covered in gold yes but this room looked platted with it from roof to ground, golden mirrors everywhere.
"You took your time my dear head mage." My eyes tore away from the amount of gold I never previously saw and they fixated on the throne, if I wasn't in love before, now I was.
Seva shone brighter then any of the golden room, eye gleaming brightly with an inviting smile with a small edge of danger to it, sitting in that throne as if she owned it which she did, looking right in her place, as if she was always meant to sit there and I suppose that was the case, that beautiful crown on her head.
I did a half-falling-over bow, isn't this was nobles do? Shit I am nervous, I can't remember the gestures she taught me! What do I do with my legs?! Hands?! How low should I bow?! I'm making a fool of myself!!
"Now, now, do lift your head, none of this on this joyous day." I lifted my head, seeing her stand. "Leave this room now." She heartlessly told the Elites that didn't need to be told twice to escape this room.
I watched in awe as she walked over, only snapping out of it when I felt her hand on my face.
"Skarla, I have the crown." She said, almost awaiting a praise but not actually letting me get the words out before she spoke again. "With this, we'll make them all pay for your pain, for everyone's pain, Davis will be able to rest in peace knowing I can protect you from everything."
A tear dripped from my eye which she rubbed away with her hand.
"Yeah.... He doesn't need to fear for me no more." I whispered.
"I promise you that the queen pay my dear head mage, this queendom is ours, we'll fix all that she has messed up and bring back its old glory together."
"Together?"
"Of course, a queen needs her head mage after all..... Now, you were really helpful, you deserve a price~"
"W-what price? I don't need money." I stuttered, quickly diverting my mind.
"Oh you know very well.... GUARDS!!!" I jumped as she yelled, the doors bursting open. "Bring her to the master chambers, I'll soon join you darling, wait patiently."
I was bright red but quickly followed the guards, mind spinning.
----------------------------------------------------------
I sighed as I sat back in my throne with a frown.
How dare she make me wait that long and then ignore me?
"Elite! By the next lights tomorrow I was all the gold to be torn from that walls of this room!"
"Yes your Majesty!"
I grinned as the title, ah.... I missed it greatly and now it was back with who it belonged too.
I stayed sitting there, watching them strip the gold away, wanting to enjoy this a while longer before I stood, she made me wait but I am not a peasant and so I will not.
While heading through the main hall to get to the wing of the castle with, I looked outside at the storm and rage of elements seen peeking over the outer walls.
I hummed, deciding to let them die out by themselves instead of putting it out, the people need to learn.
I also already had plans for the queen, I won't let her rot in the dungeons, no, I'll make an example out of her.
I grinned, everything is going just like I wanted and how it should be, everything is perfect.
I chuckled.
"All this blood on my hands has been worth it wouldn't you say-" I grinned, hands cupped behind my back. "-Davis?" I laughed to myself.
----------------------------------------------
I nudged the door open with my foot, grinning at how simply seeing me had her wrapped around my finger.
"Dear head mage, you'll have the price of a lifetime." I said, voice suave.
(Imagine the NSFW for yourself you fuckers for I do not want to write one currently and probably won't as it is not the focus of this book, but yeah.... It happened.)
