Steve ~
I pull my skates back on and Eddie helps me up. "Okay, steady... steady, there you go!" Eddie exclaims, holding my hand. We start skating on the rink. "You're a natural!" Eddie says. I smile and glance over at my watch. It's 7:30. "We have to go soon. I have to work tomorrow." I say, looking over at Eddie. He nods. "Guys! We're leaving!" Nancy yells, walking out of the door. Eddie and I look at each other, and kick our skates off, grabbing our shoes.

We run after them with only socks on. We get into the backseat and burst into a fit of laughter. "What is wrong with them?" Robin asks. "I don't know, Robin. I don't know." Nancy replies, starting to drive home. Can you two shut up? I have a headache." Robin says. "No." Eddie replies. We start laughing again. Nancy parks and we all walk inside.

"I'm going to bed." Robin says, walking into her bedroom. Nancy runs after her. "Are we doing the same, lover boy?" Eddie asks, smiling. "Yeah, Eds." I reply. He walks into the bedroom after me. "EDDIE. NOT EDS. YOU DON'T GET TO CALL ME EDS!" Eddie exclaims, flopping onto the bed. "Why? It's cute." I reply, lying down next to him. "No it's not!" Eddie replies, laughing. "It is." I respond before giving him a kiss and turning over.

He throws his arm over my waist. I fall asleep. I wake up to the alarm screaming in my ear. I check the time. It's 12:35 in the afternoon. I pick it up and throw it across the room. "Steve, you just threw the alarm." Eddie says, standing up and picking it up. I place a pillow over my face and sigh. "Come on. You gotta get up!" Eddie says, trying to pull me off of the bed. I don't budge. He starts tickling my stomach. "AHHH!" I scream, laughing. I throw the pillow at him. "Finally." Eddie says, walking out of the room.

I throw a shirt on and slide on my sneakers on. I fix my hair and pull my vest on. I have had to use an old name tag ever since, Eddie through mine out of the window. It says Joe on it. I walk into the living room and give Eddie a kiss on the cheek before walking outside. Robin tosses me the keys and I get into the car. She sits next to me and I pull out of the driveway. "I hate this job." Robin says, sighing. "Me too." I reply.

We ride in silence the whole drive there. I park and we both walk in. We sit behind the counter and Robin starts reading a magazine. "I should have gotten some coffee before we-" I get interupted by the door being slammed open and a gun being pointed at me. "GIVE ME THE MONEY IN THE REGISTER!" One man yells. The other one pointing his gun at Robin.

I freeze. "I SAID GIVE ME THE DAMN MONEY!" The man screams, shooting two holes into the wall behind me. I open the register and grab the money. I drop it onto the floor. "No." I reply. "STEVE! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" Robin yells. "I'M GONNA COUNT TO FIVE. IF THAT MONEY ISN'T IN MY HANDS WHEN I GET TO FIVE, I'LL BLOW YOUR BRAINS OUT! UNDERSTAND?" The man yells.

I smile. "No. Because, if you do 'Blow my brain's out', the police are already on their way. You'd get caught. I'm not giving you anything. You're not going to shoot. You don't want to have a murder charge on top of your felony. I wouldn't, so I know that's not what you're trying to get." I say, with a laugh. I'm bluffing. The other man grabs Robin and puts a gun to her head.

"GIVE ME THE MONEY, OR SHE DIES." He screams. I start breathing heavy. I don't know what to do. Robin is crying. I jump over the counter and knock one of the guys out with a textbook that we had lying around. The other guy starts firing shots at me and Robin runs to the phone. I feel a burning pain in my stomach. He runs out of the door. Robin runs over to me and takes her vest off.

"YOU'RE OKAY! YOU'RE GONNA BE FINE, STEVE! YOU'RE BARELY BLEEDING! IT'S OKAY! YOU'RE GONNA GET TO A HOSPITAL AND EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE FINE!" Robin says, holding her vest on my stomach and hyperventilating. "Calm down, Robin. I need... I need you to call Eddie." I say, pressing down on my abdomen. "I'LL CALL HIM WHEN WE GET TO THE HOSPITAL. YOU'RE GOING TO BE FINE!" Robin screams.

"Robin?" I ask. "YEAH?" She yells, still pressing down on my stomach. "Stop yelling." I reply, heavily breathing. "SORRY! Sorry. Okay, you're going to be fine. It's fine! The police will be here soon. And the ambulance. You'll be fine!" She exclaims. I start to feel dizzy. "Steve? STEVE STAY AWAKE!" Robin yells, slapping my face. "I... I am." I reply, dazed. I hear some sirens. A bunch of people run in and buy me on this carrying thing.

Robin runs after me and sits next to me in the ambulance. They put an oxygen mask on my face. "You're gonna be okay. Everything's gonna be okay-" It all went black.

Eddie ~
In the middle of the movie that Nancy and I were watching, the phone rings. "I got it." I say, pausing the movie. I set Ozzy down on the cushion next to mine, and stand up. I walk over to the phone, and answer it. "Hello?" I say. "EDDIE! SOMETHING HAPPENED AND... AND I'M FREAKING OUT! YOU NEED TO GET HERE PLEASE. PLEASE. SOMETHING-" "Robin, what happened? Where are you?" I ask, trying to stay calm. "JUST GET HERE! I'M AT... THE HOSPITAL BY THAT OLD RECORD STORE. PLEASE." Robin cries.

"Okay, okay." I say, hanging the phone up. "What happened?" Nancy asks. "I don't know. Robin's at the hospital. We need to go." I say, grabbing my keys and running out of the door. Nancy runs behind me. We both get in my van and I start speeding to the hospital. We pass the family video store and see a bunch of cop cars surrounding it. I start going even faster. I park the van and we both run inside. I see Robin pacing in the lobby. "ROBIN?" I yell.

She runs over to me, pulling me into a hug. Robin never hugs people, so I knew something happened. Something bad. We sit down and Nancy holds her hand, trying to calm her down. "Robin, where is Steve at?" I ask, trying to stay calm. "He... He..." She tries to speak through her tears. "He?" I ask. "He... He got shot." Robin replies, visibly panicking. "What?" I ams, shaking my head. Tears race down my face. He got shot? It can't be real. He has to be in the bathroom or. Robin grabs my hand.

"There was a robbery. He... He jumped over the counter and started fighting them because one had a gun to my head! And.. I was freaking out! I don't know what to do. He wanted me to call you when we were waiting for the ambulance but I wanted to make sure he was okay and-" "Robin, slow down. Have you heard anything?" Nancy asks.

"No, I.. I've been waiting for a while. What if they can't help him? Steve can't die. He can't!" Robin exclaims. I walk to the desk. "Do you have an update on Steve Harrington?" I ask. "Let me check. No sir, we don't." She replies. "Look, I need an update, I just... I NEED AN UPDATE! Please." I say, breathing quickly. "Sir, I will let you know when I find anything out, okay?" She asks. I nod and sit back down. My heart is racing. He has to be fine! Right?
