75. || Boycot

Laylas p.o.v

It has now been a week since I came back from the dead and was told that the people that I called my family, sent the man I love into a prison world without any chance of coming back. Since I found out about this, I refused to talk, to drink blood or even look at one of them. Bonnie was keping her distance just like Caroline. But the men were constantly in my neck, pushing me to drink blood or at least talk to one of them.

I was sitting on the red couch with the ascendant in my palm, trying to chant the god damn spell. Even though my magic was long gone, I had the tiny glimpse of hope to get it back just for this one spell. Just to get me to Kai.

The front door opened, making me flinch and hide the ascendant behind one of the pillows. Damon, Stefan, Enzo and Klaus entered the mansion. I ignored all of them and continued staring into a never ending void.

Klaus walked towards me, a bloodbag in his hand. I didn't say that it was easy to resist, but it was the only boycott that would function on them. If I wouldn't drink, it wouldn't be too long before I started drying out. To prevent that, they had to get Kai back or send me into his prison world.

"Drink."

Damon huffed. I decided to ignore his presence and kept my mouth shut and my eyes focused on the tiny black spot on th wall.

"Layla just drink it please-"

Enzo sighed, but I did the same with him. How did they expect me to react? That I would just let that slide and act like nothing had happened? Kai was the most important person in my life and even if we weren't together, they had no right to just wipe him off of the planet to send him back to the biggest trauma he has been through!

"I will, if you bring Kai back."

Suddenly, Damon used his vampire speed to grab me and push me against the wall I was just staring at. Although the harsh push made my spine crack, I didn't flinch. My expression was still the same, empty with a hint of anger.

"Why Kai? Just tell me why Kai?! What's so special about him that you're okay with spending your whole life in a prison?!"

I inhaled a deep breath before looking into Damons blue eyes.

"Because he isn't you."

Just like that, Damon let go of me and disappeared in the kitchen with the rest of his pack..

Damons p.o.v

"What's your plan?"

I asked Enzo while stressfully bouncing my leg up and down like a psycho. It's just- That bastard just harmed her while I always forgave her for every damn mistake and she still keeps chosing him over me.

"I have no plan. She's going to calm down."

Stefan sighed and told Enzo that she probably won't calm down so easily. They started to discuss how we could convince her to drink something again, my glance stopped at the original vampire in front of me. I turned on the sink, preventing Layla from hearing us.

"Klaus is going to compell her."

"I beg your pardon?"

Klaus said angrily. I just rolled my eyes and turned to Enzo.

"Elena did the same thing and she was happy, wasn't she? And also, Layla said it herself when Kai and she got innto that fight- If she could, she would've had her memories of him compelled away"

"I am not compelling her!"

I stamped towards Klaus. He had to.

"Do you want her to live this miserable life forever? She is falling apart if you don't see it! Compell him out of her mind and poof- everything will be fine again."
