"Are you sure it worked?"

I asked Kai as I looked down at Elenas body with crossed arms. That bitch was a pain in the ass, but at least I wouldn't have her crying over everything anymore.

"It did but-"
"I still don't get why we didn't just kill her?"

Kai asked as we proceeded to leave the Salvatore mansion. He was such an amateur when it came to hurting people. I huffed and turned to face Kai.

"You have so much to learn Malachai."

I teasingly pinched his cheek before continuing to walk into the city. I surely didn't intend on staying in Mystic Falls, but first I had to get that job done to entirely break Damon. Now, I just needed a car to leave this rathole.

"Layla!"

My head turned to the deep voice of Tyler Lockwood. As if god was blessing me today.

"Tyler."

Mr. Werewolf hopped out of his black Mercedes and walk towards me looking really angry. Poor wolfie lost his gemini girl tonight. Just as he was about to punch me, I grabbed his fist in mid air and broke it, causing Tyler to grunt in pain.

"You don't have to do this because of him-"

Tyler nodded his head to Kai, making me giggle in amusement. How naive of him to assume I was doing this for Kai.

"Did you really think you irrelevant fuck could change my mind?"

I turned Tylers arm further down by breaking it completely. His trembling noises flooded my ears like a melody of peace.

"Maybe silver won't kill you, but I definitely will."

Kai stepped in and took the car keys out of Tylers pants, making me squeeze my eyes. What the hell was he thinking? I let go of Tyler and walked up to Kai ripping the key out of his hand.

"What?!"
He hissed.

"Go find yourself another car. This is my trophy."

"For what?"

I sighed and walked back to Tyler who was trying to move his arm, without succeeding. I looked at my red painted nails and felt a little sorry to ruin them just because of someone like Tyler, but it had to be done.

With a fast move my hand disappeared in Tylers chest and wrapped around his pumping heart. One look into his eyes told me that I was right. This was the proper way to kill a werewolf. Tyler begged me to spare him, however that just made me eager to kill him right now.

After I ripped his heart out he fell to my feet. I placed my high heel on his chest to roll him on his back. His skin was turning grey and veiny- ew.

"Catch it-!"

I threw Tylers heart across the street for Kai to catch it, which he did. After I reached the drivers side of the black car, Kai slammed the door shut preventing me from leaving.

"Move Kai."

"I made you turn it off for a reason sweetheart."

"And I don't care darling. Now move."

Kai smashed me against the car with his hand around my neck. I used my elbow to break his nose, so he finally let go of me. Kai quickly put his nose back in place and wiped the blood off his mouth.

"You'll need company on the road."

I turned to Kai without a single emotion showing on my face.

"I would rather die."

Kai chuckled a little but then grabbed my waist to push me against his body. Now that I knew what he meant by company, I smirked. As much as I didn't want anyone around me, I couldn't just ignore the fact that Kai could have benefits.
