TWO YEARS LATER

Bella's P.O.V.

"Are you ready to go?" I call out to Lucien. I know full well he's getting our son ready to leave for my brother's wedding rehersal. Sure enough, they come around the corner with Jake holding his father's hand tightly. I smile at the two of them, identical in every way. Lucien dressed Jake in tee shirt made to look like a tuxedo, complete with black slacks and shoes. He's so adorable it makes my heart melt. Lucien approaches me and gives me a sultry kiss, then he picks Jake up and puts him in my arms. "Aren't you the most handsome little man I have ever seen!" I coo at him. He is the epitome of a happy baby, and at fourteen months old, I can already tell he's going to be a heartthrob when he grows up. His big, deep blue eyes stare at me while he fists his hand in my hair. "Ma ma," he says, looking into my face lovingly.

I smile at him and squish my nose against his. "Let's go see Eliana and Maddie, shall we?" I ask him. His eyes light up even more at the mention of their names. Eliana is Lucien's sister, born exactly a week after Jacob. She is the apple of her father's eye, a point Lucien has griped about on many occasions. I guess his Dad wasn't very affectionate when he was little, but with Eliana? He is always carrying her, smothering her with kisses, and doting on her every moment. Kate is not bothered by Sam's devotion to his daughter. "The more children we have, the less time Sam will be able to give to Eliana," she told us, so she lets her husband spoil their daughter with his attention. Eliana's a beautiful child, what angel isn't, and has a fiery personality already. She's going to be a handful, but as Samael says, "Nothing can compare to Lucien as a child." I'm thankful Jacob takes after my side of the family.

Madelyn is Trish and Ryan's daughter, born two weeks before Jake. Even though we don't live in the same town, Maddie and Jake are best friends. "Maddie, Maddie," Jake says, pulling on my hair as if to prod me into moving faster so he can see her. I laugh and hug him closely. "I know you want to go see Maddie, we will leave as soon as your father is ready."

"His father is ready," Lucien states, carrying our suitcases and diaper bag in one hand. He whistles for JoJo who comes bounding outside with us, and we all pile into Lucien's seven passenger Cadillac Escalade.

"Are you sure you don't want to take my car?" I ask him, looking at my smaller Audi five passenger SUV.

Lucien shakes his head. "I have a feeling we will be trucking Maddie and her parents around with us all weekend." He's not wrong there. Trish, after a lot of avoidance, finally accepted who and what Lucien and his father are. Unfortunately, she needed to be revived from a faint when she realized Samael is the actual Devil, but she's been a staunch supporter of them both once she got over her shock. She and my father are the only ones who know the whole truth. We had to give them time to come to grips with our revelation, and it took Trish almost three months before she could be in the same room as Samael without staring at him or jumping away if he brushed by her. I seriously cannot blame her, remembering full well my anxiety before I met him. My father was a lot more amenable. I guess if you heal my soul and save my life, Dad is going to readily accept whatever and whomever you claim to be.

Trish's daughter, Madelyn, is a stunning replica of her mother, all blonde curls and blue eyes. Lucien suspects she is Jake's soul-mate because there is an attraction there that is undefinable. They gravitate towards each other, even when they were infants, and have developed their own language that none of us understands. I think Lucien is right, they may have been made for each other. I'll have to ask Lucien's Grandfather when I see Him next week. If Maddie and Jake are soul-mates, I will move back to Pigeon Forge after college to prevent years of separation and longing between the two. As long as I have Lucien, the thought of being pigeon holed in Pigeon Forge isn't as horrible a prospect as it once was. Besides, Samael and Kate have decided to stay too, and Kate has become like a mother to me.
