Lisa

In no time, the weeks flew by and I am now on a plane going back home to Non Pariel. Of course, I'm excited to see Jeremiah in person again after a long time. Well, it actually wasn't that long, but it sure feels like it. We have a lot to talk about.

I rubbed my belly as I looked out the window of the plane to admire the clouds that were passing by. Jeremiah will definitely notice that my belly has grown. I hope he likes it. The fluffy white pillows in the air hypnotized me into a deep slumber. I woke up to the feeling of someone tapping my shoulder, and when I opened my eyes, I saw an air hostess.

"Ma'am, the plane has landed," she said with a soft smile.

"What? Already?" She nodded at my question. "I feel like I just got on the plane."

"That can happen when you sleep through it." She then gave me a bottle of water. "I thought you might be thirsty." And I was, I gulp down the water in no time.

I picked up my bag and placed it on my shoulder before attempting to get up by bracing myself on the arms of the plane seat. Seeing my struggle, the attendant stretched out her hand to me, allowing me to take it instead of just taking the initiative to pull me up without permission, which I really appreciated. Throughout this pregnancy, I have been uncomfortable with any random touches that weren't Jeremiah's so I'm really grateful for this. I held onto her hands and she pulled me up.

"Thank you," I said before looking around to see that I was the only one left on the plane.

"Everyone got off a few minutes ago, I thought I'd give you some extra time to sleep," the air hostess said after seeing my confused expression.

"I really owe you," I paused to look at her name tag, "Jediya. I'm Lisa."

"Don't worry about it. It's my job."

"It was nice to meet you. Maybe we'll see each other again."

"Maybe," she said with a shrug. I smiled and walked out of the plane, going straight to baggage claim. Just before my suitcase went around again, I pulled it out.

"How much did I really pack?" I leaned back to stretch after pulling out the heavy luggage. Pulling the suitcase behind me, I walked outside of the terminal and spotted Jeremiah right away. I moved quickly towards him before throwing my arms around his neck. "I missed you so much."

"I missed you too," he said before kissing my cheeks and eyes, which started to leak out tears. He held my hands before stepping back to look at me. "I see you've been feeding Baby Lili. Mommy Lili is keeping our baby strong and healthy, isn't she?"

"Uh huh," I nodded as heat rush through my cheek.

"You're a great mother. And that's why we're going to get you something to eat. What do you want?" Jeremiah asked before taking my suitcase in one hand and my left hand in the other and we walked out of the airport.

"Pizza and ice cream!" I nearly shouted.

"Pizza and ice cream it is then." Jeremiah placed my suitcase in the trunk of the waiting taxi before opening the back door for me to go in.

"Aww. Thank you, Jerry. You didn't have to."

"What can I say? I'm happy you are back." I gave him a sweet kiss on the lips before getting in with a bright smile on my face. After closing my door, he ran around the back of the vehicle and got in from the other side. "Royal Pizzeria, please," Jeremiah told the driver. I stretched out my left hand toward Jeremiah, motioning him to come closer, which he immediately did after realizing what I wanted.

"I love you," I said to him.

"I love you too." I leaned my head on his shoulder then closed my eyes after he replied.
