"You remember I want to take you somewhere tomorrow, right?" Jeremiah asked as soon as they sat down on the couch after returning from the hospital.

"Oh, yeah. I had actually forgotten, to be honest." Lisa gave an embarrassed smile.

"That's okay. As long as you remember for tomorrow." Jeremiah reassured.

"Since you haven't told me where we're going, can you tell me what I should wear?"

"Whatever you're comfortable in. You should come as you are."

"Okay?" Ms. Manoban said as if she was unsure about that.

"Trust me on this." The young man said.

"I do." Lisa looked at him lovingly.

"Good." He replied with a smile.

"You're staying here tonight, right?"

"Umm...yeah. Sure."

"You don't have to stay if you don't want to." Lisa said downheartedly.

"No. I want to."

"Then come help me pick my clothes for tomorrow and then I'll cook something for us to eat after." The woman got up and walked to the stairs in her house.

"Yes ma'am." He followed behind.

When the two reached to Lisa's room, she went straight to her wardrobe and took out her best looking comfy clothing.

Some clothes were left out for choosing, while others were dashed back into the wardrobe after being deemed useless. After much picking and choosing, they were down to two.

"Yellow or blue?" Lisa lifted the two dresses up her torso.

"I kind of like the yellow." When Jeremiah saw that Lisa was obviously leaning to the other with that look on her face, he spoke again. "But blue really suits you though."

"I think so too." She quickly put the chosen one on a hanger and put back the yellow into the wardrobe. "Now what do you want to eat?" Lisa asked when she turned around to face Jeremiah.

"Anything is good for me."

"Okay then. Anything it is." They both chuckled as they walked back downstairs with Lisa in front.

"I should go home-" Jeremiah started as they walked.

"You're not staying anymore?" Lisa hesitantly asked as she stopped in her tracks and made sure to turn her head as to hide the look on her face.

"Of course I am." Jeremiah walked in front of the teacher and cupped her right cheek to look straight into her eyes. "What I was going to say is that I should go home to get my clothes, so we could just make one thing tomorrow and I won't have to bustle around."

"Oh. Right. Of course that's it. What else could it be?" The woman avoided eye contact.

"Hey, look at me." The young man said softly. "You okay?" He asked when she did.

"Yeah. I'm fine."

"You sure?" The two stood there in silence. One's eyes looked everywhere except forward, and the other's looked concerningly at the one in front. "I'll go now, okay?"

"To get the clothes." Lisa said the unsaid part for assurance.

"Yeah, to get the clothes." He placed a chaste kiss on her forehead. "I'll see you later, okay?"

"Okay. Whatever I make should be done by the time you're back."

"Alright." He gave her a kiss on the cheek this time. "I love you." Jeremiah said before leaving.

"I love you too." Lisa whispered quietly to herself.
............

"Oh my. You look gorgeous." Jeremiah complimented when he saw the beautiful woman in front of him the next morning. The two went to separate bedrooms to change and then met up in the living room. Of course he finished before she did so he had waited on the the couch for her. Now he was met with a lovely view.

"Thank you." Lisa blushed. "You look pretty handsome."

"Are you all set?"

"Yes. Let's go." The young man held the lady's hand and the two walked out.

"I should really get a car. I can't get you driving us all the time." Jeremiah said when the two were seated in the teacher's car.

"You have a driver's license, right?" Lisa asked as she buckled her seatbelt.

"Yeah. I've had it for a while now."

"Good. Then you can drive us too. I don't mind you using my car for now."

"Really?"

"Of course."
................

"Are you sure this is the place?" Lisa asked skeptically when they arrived at their destination.

"Yes. Come on." Jeremiah smiled at the teacher. He got out of the car and went around to her side. "Milady," he said as he gently held her, helping her out of the car.

"Thank you." She then looked up at the building in front of her.

"I want you to meet someone." The two entered the building and Jeremiah led Lisa to a woman in her thirties. "Lisa, this is Ava. Ava, this is Lisa." He introduced the two.

"Oh. So this is the lovely Lisa I've heard about so often. It's nice to finally meet you." Ava greeted with a smile and a hug, surprising the other woman.

"It's nice to meet you, too."

"Jeremiah go talk with Pastor Elton. Let us ladies have a talk."

"Don't embarrass me when I'm not around." Lisa jumped when she heard this, thinking he was talking to her.

"I can't make any promises." Ava replied with a teasing smile which made Lisa feel relieved. Jeremiah sighed and left the two alone. "So, Lisa, Jeremiah told me you might need someone to talk to."

"He did?"

"Yeah. He didn't go into details though because he didn't want to talk about your business without your consent. That's why I told him to bring you today."

"Oh. Umm..."

"Come. Let's have a seat."

..............................

"How did it go?" Jeremiah asked as they left the church hand in hand.

"It was good. She gave me a bible." The two entered the car. "Ava also told me about Ephesians 2:10."

"Are you happy that you came? I'm sorry I didn't tell you before."

"That's okay. I'm glad I came. Ava's really nice too." Lisa said as she stared at Jeremiah lovingly.

"She is. She's the one who helped me when I first came." Jeremiah said as he fixed both their seatbelts.

"Thank you for bringing me here today. I really did need someone to talk to."

"You're welcome." He leaned over to give Lisa a kiss on the cheek, but it landed on her lips instead when she unexpectedly turned her face.
