107. Are You Drunk?

Prompt: 3. "Are you drunk...?" "Only a little..."

You stumble through the hallways of the Dauntless compound, trying to find your way back to your apartment, you were definitely struggling considering that every single hallway looked the exact same to you.

"Y/N?" You hear a familiar, tired voice call from behind you.

You turn around, your vision takes a moment to focus on the large figure in front of you, and you smile giddily when you see him, "Eric! Hi!"

He raises his eyebrows at you as he walks up to you, "Are you drunk...?"

"Only a little..." You hiccup, suddenly feeling quite giggly.

"Okay, what's wrong with you Y/N?"

"What do you mean?! Nothing's wrong! I'm just having a little fun Eric," You push him playfully but he doesn't even flinch, so you proceed to feel his arm and shoulder, "Wow...you're so strong..."

"I've known and worked with you for three years now Y/N, and other than the occasional glass of wine, you never drink, so what's this?" He gestures up and down at you.

"Nothing, nothing's wrong. I just found out that my boyfriend of 2 years has been cheating on me, but that's fine, I liked someone else, but I mean, I still trusted him, and..." Your voice shakes as you tell him what's wrong. Had you not been drunk, you would have never revealed any of this to Eric, but right now you couldn't keep your mouth shut.

"Alright, let's get you into my apartment, considering you're 3 floors above your own," He says calmingly, "And then we can talk."

The two of you sit together on his couch, in a blanket, and he brings you some food and a large glass of water in hopes to sober you up a little, "Okay, now, let's talk. Y/N, you can't let that asshole get to you. You said something about liking someone else? What was that all about?"

Eric was clearly not used to comforting people, "I've been crushing on another guy since I transferred here, but I knew it could never happen, so I settled."

"Y/N, you are such an amazing fighter, you're a beautiful woman, and you're a fucking Dauntless leader," He sighs, "You could have any guy you wanted. You don't need to settle for an ass like him."

"I can't have any guy I want, because the guy I want is an even better fighter, even more gorgeous, and he's also a fucking Dauntless leader," He's taken aback by your response, "I like you Eric, I like you!"

"Y/N-" He sighs, "I like you too Y/N, I have for a while now but you've been with bag of shit boyfriend."

You chuckle at his response; you aren't really surprised that Eric likes you, anyone could see it, but you convinced yourself that he was way out of your league, "Eric, can I kiss you?"

He laughs, "As much as I want to, you're drunk. So if you still want to kiss me in the morning, then I will. For now, you can crash in my room. Go get some sleep Y/N."
