Imagine: Eric falling for you once he finds out that you're a martial artist.

You stand in the training room alongside your fellow initiates, you viciously attack the punching bag, out of all the initiates, your bag was moving the most. You're in a full out, proper front stance, while everyone else is just simply standing there hitting the bag. You can feel someone's eyes burning in your back, you stop for a moment and turn around, you're being watched by just who you expected, Eric.

You smirk to yourself, knowing that he was impressed, and decide to take this one-step further. You put your hands in front of your body and do a perfect roundhouse kick to the centre of the bag, causing it to go flying backwards. At this point all eyes in the training room are on you, all the initiates are in awe, and Four and Eric look utterly impressed.

Of course, there were initiates who were stronger than you were, but they weren't nearly as skilled as you. You transferred from Erudite, your father transferred to Erudite from Dauntless, so you grew up learning karate, so you were fairly confident in yourself.

"Alright initiates, time for the fights," Eric barks, clapping his hands together. The initiates circle around the fighting ring, Eric stands in the centre glancing over each initiate, until his eyes finally land on Greg, a 6'3" ex-Candor boy, he is absolutely huge and you feel bad for the sucker who will have to fight him. Eric gestures towards him, "Greg, and-"

Eric's eyes narrow and he smirks as he glances over every one of the remaining initiates. He is clearly enjoying the sight of shaking initiates. Suddenly, his eyes land on you, and he smirks, "Y/N."

You look around, before dreadfully stepping into the ring. You're barely in the ring when Greg throws the first punch, but because of your quick reflexes, you instantly block it. You bounce around the ring, blocking every attack that comes at you, throwing in a few punches here and there. After a while of doing so Eric calls, "Come on Candor! Quit dancing, you can't even take down a girl?!"

This enrages Greg, and he decides to take advantage of a few visible bruises from previous days. He squeezes at the bruised skin, and you wince in pain, recoiling back and attempting to catch your balance. This gives Greg the perfect opportunity, to grasp your hair; he tugs and smashes you into the ground. You bite your tongue to hold back a scream, you look up, your vision slightly blurring, but not enough for you not to catch Eric's concerned look.

"Alright enough! That was a cheap-ass move initiate, because of your cowardice, Y/N automatically wins this fight," Eric hasn't voluntarily stopped a single fight so far, what was he doing?! No Y/N, you will not let this cheap asshole leave you broken on the ground like this, if you're going to win, you'll win with dignity!

"No Eric!" You say, getting up, "I want to continue."

"What?" You nod at him; everyone else is almost as shocked as him, "Well if that's what you want, go ahead."

You turn to Greg and instantly punch him in the jaw, and he instantly punches you back in the stomach. You cannot take anymore and you decide to finish it once and for all, you strike him in the temple of the ridge of your hand, and he's out like a light. You cross your arms and stare down at him with pride. You turn around and every initiates' eyes are filled with fear.

"Alright, class dismissed, someone help me take Greg to the infirmary," Four says.

Everyone leaves, and you follow behind but Eric stops you, "Y/N, can I talk to you?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you feeling okay?" He gently brushes his fingers against your bruise; you blush, nod, and look away, "You know, for such a tough girl, you can be pretty shy."

"I'm not shy," You argue, looking him back in the eye.

"Well, tell me your secret Y/N, where did you learn this?" He brings his hand to your temple, imitating the move that you used.

"I've been learning karate since I was a child," You reply with confidence.

"Well," He brushes your cheek, "You'll have to teach me your moves some day."

Eric winks at you, before walking away, leaving you alone in the training room to deal with your rapidly racing heart.
