Imagine: Eric planning a surprise for your birthday.

When you woke up, your boyfriend, Eric, wasn't next to you. This was to be expected, he was the leader after all, but you were just hoping he'd take a day off since it was your birthday.
You sighed, shaking your head, it was your birthday, you weren't going to spend it sulking.
Just then, you heard a knock on your door. You opened it to find your two best friends, Emily and Erin, "Happy birthday Y/N!"
"Thank you!" You smiled as Emily handed you a spa pass, "What's this?"
"The three of us will be spending the day at the spa," Erin said, "Our treat!"
Eric watched you leave the apartment with your friends, and made his way back in.
Eric had decorated the apartment with balloons and streamers, and he was currently working on dinner.
He heard a knock on the door and panicked for a moment, you weren't supposed to be back for another two hours.
"Eric?" He let out a breath of relief when he heard the voice.
He opened the door to find, Dan, a good friend of yours, holding the cake he had gotten made for you, "Thanks Dan."
"What the hell is that?"
"What?"
"That smell," Dan sniffed the air, "It smells like something is burning."
Eric's eyes widened, and he whipped his head towards the kitchen, "Shit!"
Dan laughed at Eric's attempt to fix the food, "Let me help you."
Within the next hour, Dan expertly helped Eric prepare the food, and by the time they were done, the apartment not only looked amazing, but also smelled delicious.
As Dan left, he turned back to Eric with a smile, "Have fun tonight, I'm sure Y/N will love this. Oh and one more thing, just make sure she'll be able to train the initiates tomorrow morning."
Eric smirked at him, "Alright, get out of here."
Your friends dropped you off in front of your apartment, and after wishing you 'happy birthday' one last time, they left.
When you opened the door, you were pleasantly surprised. You looked around the room with a smile and let out a scream when Eric pulled you into a hug from behind.
"Happy Birthday Y/N."
"Eric, what is all this?"
"I just figured I'd surprise you for your birthday."
"Let me guess you arranged for Erin and Emily to take me out so you could do all this?"
He nodded.
You leaned up and gave him a kiss, "Thank you."
He smiled, "Come on, let's eat."
He led you to the candle lit table and you sat down with him, "I love you Eric."
"I love you too."
