109. Piggyback Ride

Imagine: Eric being a total softie around you, so you decide to push your luck by jumping on to his back during initiate training.

You walk into the training room and spot Four and your boyfriend, Eric, standing by the initiates. You go to the side to tie up your laces and put your hair in a ponytail, while they explain the day's plan to the transfers. Once everyone scatters across the floor to practice, you quietly sneak up behind Four and Eric. You had been dating Eric for nearly three years now, you had transferred to Dauntless together, and you were a bubbly and kindhearted Amity transfer so when Eric saw your strength and drive he was taken aback. You two eventually fell for each other and despite Eric's icy exterior, he was an incredibly sweet and caring person, at least to you.

You approach the boys and quickly jump up onto Eric's back. He turns his head, slightly surprised.

"Y/N," He warns, his voice sounds more teasing than threatening however.

"Yes Eric?" You singsong innocently.

"What are you doing?"At this point, some of the braver initiates have turned to see what's going on, and Four watches, amused.

"What am I doing?" You smirk.

He chuckles, "Babe, get off."

You sigh and jump off his back; you come in front of him and kiss him, "Why, am I embarrassing you?"

He smiles, "What are you doing here Y/N?"

"I missed you," You whisper teasingly.

He chuckles, "Okay, get out of here, I'll see you back at the apartment."

You stick your tongue out at him and turn to walk away, just before you leave you hear him yell, "Enough! What are you all staring at?! Get back to training."

Had you not known him, you would have been scared at the tone of his voice, but in this case you couldn't help but laugh at the way his demeanour could change so fast.

Eric's POV

"Enough! What are you all staring at?! Get back to training!" The initiates jump and quickly scramble back to what they were doing. I don't know why, but every time she's around I just can't manage to keep up my mean demeanour. I'm not going to let that from ruining my reputation though.

Four chuckles from beside me, "Someone's going a bit soft isn't he?"

"Shut up Four, don't forget that I'm still your leader," I roll my eyes, knowing this teasing would go on for days. Y/N may have made me go a little soft, but that's only for her.
