Imagine: Always kissing Eric on the cheek in thanks for helping you, but one day you end up accidentally kissing him on the lips.

You're sitting in the training room with Eric, you were a trainer and the initiates were gone for lunch, so it was just the two of you in there. You had packed a small lunch for yourself for that morning, knowing you wouldn't be able to go to the cafeteria as you had to discuss ranks with Eric. You pulled out an orange and realized that you had forgotten to cut it into slices because you always struggled peeling fruit. You pick at it with your nail for a moment before giving up, just as you put it down, Eric picks it up and without a word, begins peeling it for you. After he's done he hands it back to you.
You smile up at him and give him a quick peck on the cheek, "Thanks Eric!"
As time went by, this became a daily routine for you, you'd ask him to peel your fruit for you and you'd thank him with a kiss on the cheek.
One afternoon, you were back in the training room, eating your lunch. You give him an orange; he peels it for you, after you've finished eating it, you go up to him to thank him. You lean up to give him a kiss on the cheek, but just as you're about to do it, he turns his head and your lips meet his. You pull away with a gasp, "I-um-sorry!"
He chuckles and shrugs, "I don't mind."
You stare at him for a moment before giving him another quick kiss on the lips in thanks. I guess this is the start of a new tradition.
