A/N: okay so idk if I did this right, this is kind of how I interpreted the song, especially in Eric's case. I'm sorry if it isn't what you envisioned.

Eric's POV
The war has ended, we've won. Four spared my life and I joined the right side, Y/N's side. She's hurt, not just physically, I hurt her. I betrayed her.
"Now, the night is coming to an end,

I know she won't leave me, she loves me too much, she's hurt, but with time I know she'll forgive me. I know it.

She stays strong, she pretends like it doesn't bother her, she does this for me. She doesn't want to hurt me like I've hurt her. She's free now, we both are, from the war, from the pressures, from everything.

I love her, but I think I may have gone too far, I pushed her over the edge, fighting against the Divergents when she herself is a Divergent. I love her but I'm afraid her love may end.
