Imagine: Eric comforting you after a horrible nightmare.

You stand there in the middle of an abandoned building. It's dark and cold, you feel an object in your hand and you look down.

It's a gun. Why do I have this?

Suddenly a single bright light goes off in the distance, you turn towards it and see your boyfriend, Eric, tied up on a chair. He's beaten and bruised, and you think he's unconscious. You pray that he's only unconscious. You are about to call out to him when you see another bright light coming from behind you, you turn around and see your younger sister also tied up in a chair, she's in the same condition as your boyfriend.

"Y/N," You hear a deep voice calling, you do not know who it is, "You are faced with two options today, you must choose between your sister and your beloved boyfriend. You have the gun, the choice is yours. Either you kill one, or we kill both. Who's it going to be?"

You can't move, you feel tears streaming down your cheeks, but other than that, you feel absolutely nothing.

"No?" The voice calls once again, "Can't make that decision? Alright, I guess I will just make it for you."

Then you hear a gunshot go off and you see blood pour out of Eric's chest. You hear a second gunshot, and you can practically see the bullet go through your sister's forehead.

You scream.

You jolt up in bed and whip your head around, examining your surroundings. You turn to your boyfriend and feel a sense of relief. You can't help but shake him awake anyways, you just saw him die, you needed him to ensure that he was here with you.

"Eric?" You whimper. He turns to you and rubs his sleep-filled eyes.

"Y/N?" When he sees your face, he instantly sits up next to you and puts his hand on your back, "What's wrong baby?"

"Yo-you, I had to," Your voice shakes and you being crying.

"Shh baby? It was just a dream, everything is okay. I'm right here," You didn't even need to tell him anything, he just knew. He held you until you had calmed down.

He then lay you back down in bed, and you cuddled against his chest as he rubbed your back, whispering sweet nothings into your ear, until you fell back asleep. Let's just say, the nightmares didn't bother you after that.
