You jolted awake from another nightmare, only to be relieved at the sight of Eric next to you. As you tried to calm yourself, Eric stirred, and awoke shortly after, "Y/N? Are you alright?"
You nodded, "Nightmare."
He understood and simply pulled you into his arms. This had been happening every night since you had saved Eric during the events in Candor, thankfully you stopped Four from killing him and even convinced everyone to let him come back to the compound. At this point, you didn't think it was possible to go through a single night without him.
'How do I Get through one night without you? If I had to live without you What kind of life would that be?'
You couldn't help but think what would happen if Four had pulled that trigger, you couldn't imagine a life without Eric, and the possibility of that shook you to the core. You knew you'd be left empty without him.
'Oh now I need you in my arms need you to hold You're my world my heart my soul If you ever leave
Baby you would take away everything good in my life.'
"Y/N?" He whispered into your hair, gently rubbing your back.
"How would I live without you Eric?"
He chuckles, "Like the beautiful, strong woman you are."
You finally crack a smile at his compliment, "I love you."
"I love you too Y/N."
