120. Hitting It Off

Imagine: Being Four's sister, Eric dislikes you because of that at first, but eventually, you two hit it off.

You land in the net after jumping off the roof, and you let out a breath of relief, followed by a small laugh. A man lifts you off the net, and it takes a moment for you two to recognize each other, "Tob-"

"Shh!" He quickly interrupts, "It's Four now."

You rub the back of your neck, not really knowing what to say to him. He was your older brother, but you were never really that close growing up, and since he had left you could sense that things would be awkward between you two.

The days went on and training was rough, things between you and your brother were already awkward, it didn't help that Eric was constantly picking on you because of his hatred towards Tobias.

That evening, you were hanging out in the pit by yourself, when Eric made his way towards you, he casually leans against the wall beside you, "Good fight today."

You're taken aback by his comment but you eventually respond, "Er-thanks."

You stand in awkward silence for a while, "So, why did you choose Dauntless?"

He raises his eyebrows, "Because it was my aptitude..."

"Right...sorry, just trying to make conversation..."

He chuckles -an actual chuckle, a small one, but a chuckle nonetheless. He starts talking to you about training. Eventually, your conversation drifts to your interests, which, turns out, you share a lot of, "You know Y/N, you're not really like your brother."

"So I've been told," You shrug, "And you're not as awful as they say you are."

He simply rolls his eyes, "You should get back to your dorm. You're going to want to get some rest; tomorrow's going to be a rough day of training," and with a wink he adds, "besides, we want to ensure you making it through initiation; I'd like to keep you around."

You smile up at him and walk out of the pit.
