When He Meets Your Parents For The First Time

Johnny:

➣ literally acts like the sweetest and nicest guy the entire time

➣ he'll be pretty shy the entire night, but your parents see the potential in him

➣ absolutely no PDA in front of your parents, not even holding hands, because he feels awkward/uncomfortable

➣ he makes sure you don't bring up the situation with his parents because he doesn't want your parents to pity him

➣ your parents notice the way he looks at you. that's when they know he's the one for you

➣ without even trying, he'll give your parents several reasons why you should marry him

Dally:

➣ still keeps his bad boy attitude

➣ your parents compliment him on his smile

➣ before the date, you guys made a deal that you wouldn't ever bring up his record with the police + how many times he's been in jail

➣ he tries to smoke only two cigarettes the entire time

➣ he makes up a couple of accomplishments just to impress your parents

➣ when the meeting is just about over, your mom says in front of everyone, "if i met this boy back in my day, i'd marry him in a heartbeat" and he will not shut up about that for days after

Pony:

➣ he'll be super nervous at first, but by the end of the night, he'll feel really happy

➣ he tries to impress your parents the entire time

➣ your parents are super pleased that he's smart and loves books

➣ you accidentally tell your parents that Pony loves sunsets, and they say "aww that's too cute" and he blushes

➣ he makes sure to compliment your parents on anything they do just to get on their good side

➣ he'll hold hands with you and maybe hug you, but absolutely no kissing in front of your parents

Soda:

➣ when your mom first sees him, she almost falls over at how stunning he is

➣ she mutters to you "where in the world did you find this diamond" and Soda overhears and smiles

➣ your mom compliments him the entire night, calling him "gorgeous" and "movie-star handsome" and "a greek god." even your dad throws in a couple of them too, like "i can see why she likes you, you're a very attractive boy"

➣ your mom calls Soda smart, and that absolutely makes his world because he thinks he's dumb. coming from your mom, that's the biggest compliment he can receive

➣ they like that he works on cars, but most of all, they're in awe of how beautiful and model-like he is

➣ later that night, your mom says to you, "if you married that hunk tomorrow, i would not be mad" which you thought was weird but you knew she was joking

Darry:

➣ he's very reserved when he first meets your parents

➣ he doesn't say much in the beginning, just gives them a simple "hello" and a smile

➣ at first, he'll only talk when he's spoken to, but he loosens up over time

➣ your parents love his smile

➣ your parents ADORE the fact that he practically raised his two brothers on his own

➣ you accidentally say that Darry was really popular and smart in high school and he blushes and says, "oh, stop it"

➣ at the end of the night, your parents call you into the kitchen to speak to you privately, and Darry can't help but eavesdrop. your parents say, "Y/N, i really think this is who you're going to marry. he is a very handsome, strong, and wise young man. he's definitely your soulmate" and Darry beams

Steve:

➣ he dresses up really nicely for the big day

➣ he would be super jumpy and nervous the entire time because he seriously wants to make a good first impression

➣ he'll try to get your parents to like him

➣ your parents think it's super cool he works with cars, especially your dad

➣ then, steve gets started on a rant about everything he knows about cars and your parents' jaws drop to the floor

➣ at the end of the night, your mom says to him, "well, steve, this has been a wonderful night, all thanks to you. you are a very handsome and talented boy. thank you for taking such good care of my daughter" and he doesn't stop smiling for the rest of the night

Two-Bit:

➣ he will make sure he is absolutely not drunk or even hungover when he meets them

➣ you and him even make a deal beforehand to not bring up how much he loves drinking

➣ he smiles the entire time, which makes you smile

➣ he'll crack like a million jokes during dinner and by the end of the night, he's got your parents doubled over laughing

➣ you accidentally spill the fact that he loves mickey mouse, and your parents go wild over how adorable that is

➣ when he leaves, your mom says to you, "he truly brings out your spirit and your wild side, i've never seen you this happy"
