Johnny: how small he is/ the size of his muscles. he wishes he could be bigger and stronger, like the rest of the gang.
Dally: Sylvia cheating on him whenever he's in jail, even though he pretends it doesn't bother him + he's insecure about how emotionally messed up he is, with the amount of times he's been put in jail and how many times he's got in trouble with the police, and of course he shows off his record, but he also doesn't always want to be "the bad guy"
Pony: his new hair. he hates being blonde and having short hair. he loved his old hair - it was his pride.
Soda: Sandy dumping him + not being able to keep Mickey Mouse, his horse
Darry: quitting school so he could work to keep his family together
Steve: being a greaser
Two-Bit: not being good enough. he knows he's funny, but he doesn't always want to be the guy in the group that makes jokes. he wants to be the handsome guy. the smart guy. the brave guy.
