Chapter 36
I sighed as I stepped my feet to go to the Cadlan mental hospital, this was the first mental hospital here in Bicol. I looked at the paper again that Kuya had given me last week. This is too hassle and tiring, I just go home here in Bicol just to have a consultation in this hospital.
That is much better though. For sure, they will be confused and curious if why I went here.
“AAAAAA! HAHAHAHA! Sasaksakin kita!” rinig kong sigaw ng isang pasyente. She was holding a knife on her hand, I rolled my eyes because it is not sharp. It was just a toy one!
Tumingin ako ulit sa babaeng sumigaw at nakita kong malaki ang ngiti niya habang tumatakbo. I just observed what she tried to do with that male nurse. My forehead creased because I saw that it was Dionne!
He still didn’t notice me, I just observed him struggling with his patient. I smirked because his face is too funny!
My eyes widened when his gaze went to mine, his mouth went agape when he realized that I’m his friend.
I observed the patients who are agressively talking to the nurses.
Baka kayo ang baliw!” sabi noong lalaking pasyente.
I just shook my head because of what I’ve heard. I am not a psychology student but why are they always indicating that patients who has a mental disorder are crazy?
From my peripheral vision, I saw Dionne. Someone tapped my shoulder and I almost fell on the floor.
“Kumusta ka, Dianne? Bakit ka pala naririto? May bibisitahin ka ba?” kalmadong tanong ni Dionne, I avoided my gaze because I remembered someone. He noticed my actions and then he caressed my shoulder to calm myself.
“Inhale, exhale. It’s okay, it’s okay. Everything will be fine.”
“I-I’m not okay. I’m here to have an appointment with Dr. Xyra Delos Reyes.”
“I know that you can surpass this battle, Dianne. I am not forcing you to tell it to me if what happened to you but... I’m here for you. Just contact me if you need someone to talk to,” nakangiting sabi niya.
“Thank you, Dionne.
Got to go!” he said and then he tapped my shoulder. I just smiled and nodded to him.
