It's not nice to make fun of a Leprechaun: Not because they'll brutally murder you if you do, but because they harass and prank you nonstop until you apologize to them.
Since Leprechauns are an Herbivorous species, many of the ones that were once Dwarves find switching to an all plant diet very difficult when they first start out.
Meanwhile, Leprechauns that were once Gnomes sometimes forget that they no longer have the ability to turn to stone and many of them have ended up being eaten by predators because of that.
If a Leprechaun is caught by somebody than they can make a pot of gold appear for that person, but that gold will only appear if the person that captured the Leprechaun keeps it captured for 17 straight days.
Leprechauns are unable to use magic if a Four-leaf Clover is around and many people that have successfully captured Leprechauns place Four-leaf Clovers around whatever they put the Leprechaun in so that it can't use magic to escape.
Strangely, all Leprechauns speak with an Irish accent regardless of where in the world they were born. It is believed that this is because the first Dwarf/Gnome that transformed into a Leprechaun was from Ireland.
Leprechauns have the ability to make physical rainbows, but the magic used to create these rainbows is very weak and the rainbow will fade away after a few minutes.
Unlike Dwarves and Gnomes, Leprechauns are immortal, but they can still be killed by other means such as sickness or injury.
The only Human holidays that Leprechauns will participate in are Saint Patrick's Day and April Fools' Day. In addition, their magic is most powerful in March, the month of Saint Patrick's Day.
Extra Fun Fact: While most Leprechauns are huge fans of the " Leprechaun" movie franchise, they have always been confused as to why only a couple of the movies in the franchise have been released in March.
