Animal Class: Mammal
Diet: Herbivorous ( the ones that live in Antarctica are Carnivorous)
Like Centaurs, they have spread to every continent because of their ability to build and use boats thanks to their intelligence levels being the same as a human's intelligence levels. However, many small groups of them do live in Antarctica, but they have much thicker and shaggier hair to deal with the weather and sharper teeth, so that they can eat meat.
DNA tests show that even though they are very human like, they actually share a common ancestor with members of the Bovine family, but like with Centaurs and Humans, the identity of that ancestor is unknown.
They prefer to have their villages deep in the mountains, but they are not opposed to living in forests. Like with Centaurs, this villages are lead by a male or female chief and their mate, but rather than hold elections after the chief dies, Minotaurs prefer to decide who their next chief is with one on one hand to hand combat tournaments that last a few days with the winner of the tournament becoming the new chief. However, the ones that live in villages with Centaurs have abandoned that tradition and hold elections like Centaurs.
They also prefer to not fight using guns, but they tend to use axes, maces, and crossbows rather than swords and bows. ( The ones in Antarctica like to use large spears in addition to their usual weapons)
Their mating habits are pretty much the same as the mating habits of a Centaur: Mate for life, but may have many other partners until they find that mate for life.
A baby Minotaur will walk on all fours until it is about a year old and when they start walking on two legs, they are very clumsy and take about another 2 or 3 months to get good at it.
Where Centaurs have speed, Minotaurs have strength with some having been seen lifting things as heavy as bulldozers with very little effort.
Many Minotaurs refuse medical treatment when they are sick or injured because they think that suffering through the pain will make them stronger.
Extra Fun Fact: Many professional wrestlers practice fight with Minotaurs in their spare time in order to test their strength and get stronger in the process. Some of these Minotaurs refuse payment for this fights because they use it as a way to test their strength too.
