Animal Class: Amphibian

Diet: Carnivorous

Like Gill-People and actual Frogs, Frog People start out in large eggs that are laid in the water and have to undergo a Tadpole stage before becoming adults. They can remain in their Tadpole state for up to 15 years.

Their tongues are long and powerful. Some can stretch their tongues up to twenty feet and they are strong enough to grab things as big as Owls and Hawks. There are stories of some of them managing to grab small Deer with their tongues. In their Tadpole stage, they feed on Fish, Crustaceans, and water based Insects.

Like actual Frogs, they have no teeth and have to swallow their prey whole. This can prove to be a problem if they grab something too large with suffocation being the number one cause of death in younger Frog People.

They can jump very high and have no trouble clearing small to medium sized buildings in one leap.

While they are capable of speech, their large tongues make it very hard to interpret what they are saying, so they have to talk very slowly.

Many are shocked to discover that Frog People have electricity manipulation powers and many carry around sticks that they use like wands to fire electricity from. They use their powers to defend themselves from predators such as Wild Dogs or Thunderbirds.

As the previous fact suggests, Frog People are a food source for Thunderbirds and eating a Frog Person temporarily enhances the Thunderbird's electricity powers.

They naturally live in the Mid Western and Southern parts of the United States and have to stay close to water in order to keep their skin from drying out.

Frog People have been known to help out in Search and Rescue efforts in attempts to find people that were lost in boating and drowning accidents.

Extra Fun Fact: A few schools in the Mid-West have hired Frog People to help teach students how to swim. Every student trained by a Frog Person has managed to become a master swimmer.
