Does anyone actually look at these pictures above the chapter? Because if not, I can just leave them out.

~Tom's pov.

Y/N fell asleep on my shoulder on the taxi ride back. I didn't blame her, her little body was completely exhausted. So I didn't want to wake her when we arrived, she needed the rest.
I paid the taxi driver and tried to lift Y/N carefully out of the car, but I had slight difficulties since she wasn't exactly the size of a toddler anymore. I could have lifted Parker out without any problems, and the little fellow probably wouldn't have even noticed we were there. God how I missed him already and his little hugs. I couldn't imagine what it would be like if I had to leave for my role... I just prayed I was allowed to take my family with me, but since nothing is 100% certain yet, I haven't questioned anything either. All I knew was that my casting was most likely going to be in november, and I would be notified over the christmas period. That was also the reason why I said 'I can't' earlier. It wasn't because I didn't want another baby, no there was nothing I would want more from Y/N, but I couldn't for the simple reason that I couldn't get her pregnant if I couldn't be there to support her through the most difficult months of her pregnancy.

I still had problems lifting Y/N out of the car, had no idea how to get her out without her waking up and her dress riding up her thighs, because somehow... she didn't have any underpants on since the bench incident. So if I threw her over my shoulder, her whole ass would be on full display. To get her to jump on my back I would have to wake her up, and the only option I was left with was to get her wrap her arms around me like a koala, and as I said, that was a bit difficult considering the taxi was quite low and I had to bend down.
The taxi driver opened his door at one point to help me, which I appreciated even though he probably just wanted to get rid of us, but at the same time, now was the time for me to get rid of him. With Y/N's panties quickly stuffed in my pocket, I tried to pull her dress down as far as I could so the driver wouldn't even get to see her thighs.
"I got it, thanks." I said as he was about to come around the door, and quickly lifted Y/N out of the stupid seat in one swift movement. Her chin landed perfectly on my shoulder and she wrapped her arms around my neck out of instinct. The only problem I had was that her dress had ridden up. And the taxi driver was still standing behind the door in case I needed help. Half a sweat, half a raindrop ran down my forehead as I tried to give him a ressuring smile. I think I failed but at least I managed to pull her dress down a little in the process and step away from the door so the taxi driver could close it.
"Elle va bien ?" Damn it, the next trip we would make wouldn't be to a country where I couldn't speak the language. He noticed my 'I have no idea what you just said and I'm just nodding out of politeness' look, and pointed his index finger at her bloody knees. Oh man, I had totally forgotten about those. After his little help I could guess what he had asked.
"Yeah no, she tripped." I shrugged, trying to make it seem like no big deal, and this time he was the one nodding incoherently, but at least he got back into his car after that, albeit hesitantly. Finally.
I turned towards the hotel, Y/N already getting heavier in my arms. The lights were all still on, but luckily no one was walking through the hotel at that time of day anymore. This made things a lot easier for me, not only the worry that Y/N's dress would ride up, but also the many questions for autographs and pictures, concerned people wanting to know if Y/N's knees were okay, and hotel employees asking if we needed anything else. I made my way up to our hotel room without any problems, and was rummaging in my pocket for the key card when Y/N suddenly took a deep breath. At first I was afraid that I had woken her up, frozen in my movement, but then she let out the inhaled breath through her mouth and I knew that she was still deep in her sweet dreams. I think I even felt her place a little kiss on my neck and my heart ached with love. I carefully set her down on the edge of the sink in the bathroom and rested my palms on her thighs for support until I could be sure she wouldn't fall over.
The rain was still pelting heavily against the windows, but unlike in the bedroom, the noise only arrived muffled in our ears. It brought me comfort though, the sound of rain. Strangely always calmed me. Maybe because I was already used to it, since it often rained in London, but maybe also because it usually rained when I was in the deepest hole of my mental health, and the rain was the only thing that ever distracted me. So by now I saw the rain as my personal retreat to think. Weird, wasn't it?
