~Y'ALL SEE THE PIC?!!!~

Y/N's pov~

The following day, I decided to take Parker to the set with me. His initial impression was beyond my expectations, and within just two minutes of touring the set, he was already enamored, told me how awesome everything was. He loved the cameras because they were big and looked like a mini TV from the front. He liked the microphone because his voice sounded funny the closer he got, and when Clark used a few clicks to alter his voice, Parker could barely contain his laughter.

Then, in the trailer where the makeup was done, he had a butterfly painted on his cheek. He could have chosen a dinosaur or even Spiderman, but he chose the butterfly because he said it reminded him of me, and that melted my heart. While I didn't want him around during the shooting, partly because he was too small to understand everything and couldn't stay still, and partly because he got bored too quickly, Clark looked after him.

Reportedly, they wandered around a bit, and Clark showed him more props, but without me, he mentioned, Parker quickly lost interest. So instead, they went to get ice cream, which confused Parker because it was warmer here than in London, but he didn't mind ice cream. Clark also bought him a cap to shield his eyes from the sun, and Parker loved it because it had a bear head on the front that made him feel strong.

In the evening, I invited Clark to dinner as a thank you, and he deferred to where Parker wanted to eat, with Parker choosing lobster, which he had never tried before. It almost made me laugh how curious he was, but that was one of the things I loved about Parker. He was always open to anything new. So lobster it was.

By the end of the day, it felt like Parker liked Clark twice or even three times as much as he did in the morning. He kept giving him high fives and even hugged him sometimes for no reason. Was Clark his new hero now?

Parker didn't want to talk to Tom all day. He didn't ask about him, and when Tom asked me if we wanted to talk later so he could hear his son's voice again, Parker shook his head and shoved a spoonful of chocolate mousse, his dessert, into his mouth.

"Do we see Clark tomorrow?" Parker asked on the way back, hopping from tile to tile. We were almost back at the hotel in the evening, and the air was still warm, making it pleasant to walk instead of taking a ride.
"Probably. Do you have anything specific in mind that you'd like to do?" Even though I had work tomorrow, Reez promised me it would only be a few voice recordings, so I'd have time in the afternoon to do something with my son while he was here. Sometimes Reez could be really demanding when he was stressed on set, but overall, he was a great director in my opinion, and I was lucky to have him.

Parker shook his head, squeezing my hand tightly. Maybe he really didn't know what he wanted to do, or perhaps he was still missing some vocabulary to express certain words. His little nose twitched as he inhaled some dust from the ground, and he sneezed twice.
"Bless you," I said, adjusting the cap on his head that he didn't even take off at sunset.
"Thank you," he replied. "Can we watch a movie later?" He questioned, hope in his voice but knowing damn well he could get his way with me no matter what.
"Of course, sweetface."
