Focus Y/N.
The sentences on my script started not to sound like English the more I tried to concentrated on memorising the lines. But I wasn't as good as Wayne at this, and the agonising wait for a message on my phone was painfully protracted.Y/N:
So sorry I forgot to call yesterday!

Missed voice call.
Y/N:
Wanna call now?

Missed voice call.

[Gif]But not even to my kissing minion gif had he responded, let alone reacted.
It was now over 36 hours and I was worried to death. Nikki couldn't help me, Sam couldn't help me either, and Ciara had internet problems on the phone, so the connection was gone shortly after I had asked if she had heard of Tom. What a pity.
"That's too easy. I'll have scene one memorised by next week." Of course Wayne would have. Learning the script was as easy for him as colouring in colouring books.
After having read the lines three times, he had saved his text somewhere in his brain's database and had to retrieve it once the time came. For me, on the other hand, it was a complete disaster. Not like I had any pressure, since we had just received the script yesterday and had enough time to learn it by heart before we started shooting, but I was afraid that today wouldn't be the only day I couldn't concentrate. If Tom kept distracting me without even talking to me, I was- what's the word for it? Screwed. Yeah.
I scratched my scalp, reading the same sentence over and over again without even getting a single sentence into my brain.
A knock on the door of the office where Wayne and I were sitting, swivelled our heads with attention.
Fuzzy dirty blonde hair appeared in the door frame, the white silk shirt loose around the tanned torso.
"Want to join me for a drink?" It was only eight o'clock in the evening, but I had been sitting in this boring office for two and a half hours, trying to fill my head with unnecessary worries.A drink was the only thing that could relax me now. Wayne was on his feet right away, reaching for his coat, and if he joined Clark, so would I.
We were walking down the street and I clung to my phone like a squirrel to its nut.
If Tom called me now, I would drop everything and go home just to talk to him until the next day."There's this club near Amberbrook University. Great drinks and music that's reasonably bearable. What do you think?" I nodded, had only half listened to Clark. I didn't know my way around the area anyway, so I followed their every step.
"Oh I've heard of it! ElixirX, right?" Wayne practically lived in Los Angeles. Every alley, every person, every restaurant, he knew the names and had his contacts. I wouldn't even be surprised if he knew Jacob and his sister since she lived here I vaguely seemed to remember. When we arrived at the club, Clark greeted the doorman with a classic handshake and exchanged a few words with him before we entered.
A wave of vibrant purple and blue lights illuminated the bar, adding an air of sophistication and allure. The sleek, modern design instantly caught my eye, with its polished wooden counters and shimmering glassware catching the light. It was like any other bar and so much more at the same time. The counters were clean, the dance floor was not dominated by sweaty crowds, and the air was strikingly good. I also immediately noticed the wealthy gentlemen in the corner of the room. With loose ties around their necks and tuffed hair, everyone came here after a long day's work, as did the students who lived in the area, but fewer of them as my eyes catched.
