Y/N's pov~

Kissing Tom wasn't on my bingo card for this vacation. Having his tongue eating me out, wasn't even on my lottery prediction. Just talking was a step, far from imaginable, so how did I end up having butterflies swarming around in my belly at the thought of him?

Ciara was unusually quiet when I walked into the kitchen to refill my water glass in the morning. Still in our pajamas, neither of us was quite ready to start the day, unlike Hero and Sam, who stood at the doorway wearing straw hats.

"Are you coming to the farmers' market with us? We want to cook some fresh ass meal for a farewell dinner tomorrow," Sam asked, genuinely pleased at the prospect of us joining, probably after receiving several rejections already. The idea of a farmers' market on a Wednesday morning sounding oddly appealing to me. I swallowed my last sip and agreed immediately, "Sure, when do we leave?"

Hero checked his watch. "At ten." That gave me thirty minutes to get ready, which, being pregnant, was easier than usual. A quick shower and my new overalls were all I needed. Makeup was no longer essential since I had no one to impress, and I wore my hair in a simple ponytail. When I came down the stairs right on time later on, I found Harry and Tom at the other end, chatting as they waited for everyone to gather. Harry leaned on the banister, while Tom had his arms crossed over white the fabric of his shirt. All heads turning once my heavy steps clocked down the stairs.

"Lookin' stylish as always, Y/N!" Harry whistled, pointing out my overalls and quickly noting that he was wearing a similar outfit, complete with a white T-shirt underneath. He grabbed my hand as soon as I reached the bottom, spinning me around to show off my outfit to the others until Hero whistled and Harrison cheered without knowing what was happening as he emerged from the guest bathroom. Tom just grinned, biting his lip to keep from giving me more attention than he already was. Could sense the tension as he held back from thinking about last night.

"Where's your fiancée?" A better question was, where was everyone? But since Ciara seemed so distant, her absence was the most noticeable. Harry shrugged, letting the question pass like a fresh gust of a breeze. "In the room. Not sure if she's coming." Not even sounding like he cared. Not because Harry actually didn't care, but because he didn't sense if his Fiancée wasn't feeling well or not.

"Mhm." I nodded, knowing Tom knew more than I did. His gaze a prickling one on my skin. He continued to watch me as I observed Hero trying to persuade Paddy to join us while Sam loaded baskets into the car. The front door being wide open. Garden doors closed after Paddy and Parker had gone for a morning swim earlier.

After Harry went to help his twin, and everyone seemed distracted, Tom stepped closer, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Everything okay?" he asked, not satisfied with my thoughtful expression.

"Sure. Can you go fetch Parker and get him ready? I'm gonna check up on Ciara." It didn't feel right for Ciara to stay home alone. Tom nodded, naturally, and looked around the living room as I headed up to my best friend. Two knocks weren't enough; after a third, the door swung wide open.

"What?" she snapped, but upon realizing I wasn't her red-haired boyfriend, she quickly softened her tone. "Sorry, I thought you were Harry."

"No problem." I stepped in as she sank back onto the bed. The curtains were almost completely drawn, just a sliver revealing Sam now buckling his daughter into the car seat.

"Do you want to talk?" After all, I had never seen Ciara so downcast. It couldn't be because of Harry, could it? Ciara shook her head, though she looked like she really needed someone to confide in.

"It's fine," she murmured, keeping her head down. But how could I leave it at that when she had supported me through my entire divorce?

"Come on, you can talk to me." I stepped closer, hoping my presence would show her I meant no harm. But she shook her head again.
