There I was sitting in the sun annoyed that I was forced to come here when I didn't want to but I knew there was reason that Edward wasn't telling me.

"Aren't you going to miss this" Renee said gaining my attention. "The warmth on your skin, the vitamin D soaking into your pores" Renee said.

"I suppose" Bella said. "Colleges in Florida are a lot sunnier" Renee said making Bella look at her weirdly.

"What? I'll never see you if you go to the University of Alaska" Renee said. I told Renee I was taking a gap year since I just needed a break.

"They have a good science programme" Bella said. "If by science programme you mean Edward programme" Renee said.

"I remember the way he watched you at the hospital. It was like he's ready to leap in front of you and take a bullet" Renee said.

"Is that a bad thing" Bella asked. "It's an intense thing" Renee said. Then she looked at me and smiled.

"Don't think I forgot about you and what's his name.. Jasper?" Renee questioned. "Yeah Jasper" I said the smile on my face.

"You're different with him. You're like magnets, so different yet you're perfect for each other" she said. "We're just.." I paused.

"I get it you're in love. I just want to make sure yous are making the right choices of you. You're the only who has to live with them after all" Renee said.

She pulls out a large box. "Alright enough with the heavy. Happy graduation" she said. "We asked you not to waste your money" Bella said. "I didn't I swear" Renee said.

We opened the box and find two quilts. "Our trip T-shirts" me and Bella said in unison smiling at Renee.

"I thought they'd make nice quilts, to keep you warm up there" Renee said while me and Bella went looking at all the attractions.

"Remember that" Renee said pointing to the one from Ensenada. "Saul's Snake Farm" I said smiling. "And Taqueria" Bella said.

"God knows what was in those tacos" Renee said. "I don't think I ever tasted something so horrible" I said as we all laughed.

"The three headed lobster in Maine! It gave you nightmares" Bella said to me. "But you were all look wow cool" I said. "Already a science geek at ten" Renee said as we laughed.

"This is amazing mum" Bella said. "We'll add to it when you have kids. We'll take them to the world's tallest catsup bottle and the chewing gum art museum" Renee said.

"I just didn't want you to go to Alaska without me, or without a part of me" Renee added before getting pulled into a hug by Bella.

"I'm going to miss you so much" Bella said. "I'll miss you too" Renee said before pulling me into the hug.

I loved Renee a lot and I know if I become a Siren full time it would be difficult to leave her behind though so would becoming a vampire.

The two choices I had meant I'd have to leave my family. I discovered that if I choose to be a Siren I would be an immortal like I would if I became a vampire.

I wanted to live with Jasper forever I just needed to choice whether or not to follow my blood or change completely.
