There I was at Graduation listening to Jessica do her speech. I wasn't paying attention I was just looking at Jasper who smirked at me.

When she finished one by one we all got our diploma's. The whole Cullen's cheered when I got mine making me smile.

Bella go hers and Alice cheered very loudly for her. I was glad Bella had Alice, she was just like Rosalie to me.

After everyone got their diploma's me and Bella go over to Charlie who was almost in tears the poor man.

"I'm so proud of you, both of you. I can't wait to see what you do next. You two are my biggest accomplishments" Charlie said.

"Dad that's not true" Bella said. "Yes it is. You'll see what you have kids" Charlie said making us both smile half heartedly.

"Now you to need to go get ready for the party" Charlie said. He hugged us both before he walked off.

Hours pasted and we were heading to the Cullen's house for the party. It was silent during the journey, none of us spoke.

We get out of the care to see Angela and Jessica. "You're finally here" Angela said. "What'd you think of my speech? Too easy-breezy, self-helpful" Jessica said. "Excuse me" I said.

I go over to Jasper and wrap my arms around him. "Well I wonder who that is" he asked making my fight a giggle.

He turned around and looked at me. "I was right" he said. He kissed me gently and I kiss him back wrapping my arms around his neck.

We pulled away. "I could get used to that" he said. "I feel like I haven't seen you for years" I told him making him chuckle.

"I can barely stay away from you for five minutes never mind years" he said as he pecked my lips gently making me smile.

Suddenly he stopped and looked at Alice. We all looked at her. "Alice what is it? What did you see" Bella asked.

"Okay something is going on" Jacob said. I noticed he was with Embry and Quil but I was more interested in what Alice saw.

"I need to talk to Jasper" she said. "Why don't you talk to me" Jacob asked blocking her from getting over to us.

"I suggest you move before I make you" Jasper said and Jacob did. "I'm just looking for information" Jacob told him.

"The decision's been made" Alice said. "You're not going to Seattle are you" Bella asked. "No. They're coming here" she replied.

We all go out back, including the wolves and Bella. "How long" Edward asked. "They'll be here in four days" Alice said.

"This could turn into a blood bath" Carlisle said. "There aren't enough of us to protect the town" Oliver said.

"Someone's going to attack Forks" Jacob asked but got ignored. "Who's behind it" Edward asked Alice. "I didn't see anyone familiar, maybe one" Alice said.

"Yes I've seen his face, he's local, Riley Biers. But he didn't start this" Edward said. "Whoever did is staying out of the action" Alice said.

"Someone's playing with the blind spots in your vision" Carlisle said. "Only the Volturi could know Alice's gift works. Aro would have found out when he read Alice's mind" Edward said.

"Either way the army is coming" Jasper said. "And our odds aren't good" Oliver said. "Alright hold on! What damn army" Jacob snapped.

I looked at everyone who were looking at each other. "Newborns, new vampires" I said making Edward growl at me.

"How many" Quil asked. "Enough" Jasper said. "What are they after" Embry asked. "They were passing around Bella and Angel's scent. Bella's red blouse and Angel's black t-shirt" Alice said.

"Okay what the hell does this mean" Jacob asked. "It means a ugly fight with lives lost" Carlisle told him.

"We're in" Jacob and Embry said at once. "What no you'll get yourselves killed" Bella said. "This is what we were made for" Jacob said.

"Forget it" Edward said. "I wasn't asking for permission" Jacob said. "Alright. Do you believe Sam will agree to this.. understanding" Carlisle asked.

"If that's the fancy word for fighting together yeah. We happen to live here too" Jacob said as Embry and Quil nod their heads.

"Jasper" Carlisle asked. "They'll give us the numbers. The newborns won't even know they exist it will give us an edge" Jasper said.

"Carlisle don't. They'll get hurt" Bella said pleading. "This is what they were made for Bella" I told her and she glared at me making Rosalie growl.

"We'll have to coordinate. Fighting newborns requires knowledge that Jasper has. We were already planning a strategic meeting. You are welcome to join us" Carlisle said.

"Name a time and a place" Jacob said. Carlisle gave him the time and place. The wolves started to leave.

"Jake, wait. You don't know what you're getting into" Bella told him. "It's what we do" Jacob told her as him, Embry and Quil stopped.

"You should be happy, I mean look at us, working together. You're the one who wanted us to get along" Jacob said as he walked away.

"The only reason we'll be getting involved is to protect Angel" Quil said. "But I'm fighting" I said. "No you're not" Embry, Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett said.

"But I'm powerful" I said. "We can't risk you getting hurt" Rosalie said. "We all care too much about you" Emmett said.

I looked at Jasper. "I wouldn't be able to focus knowing you were there. It would weaken our ability to concentrate" he said. "Fine" I replied.

Was I annoyed? HELL YES! Maybe it was for the best. I could stay with Bella and protect her. I decided that I will stay with Bella, protect her, not matter what.
